I like my food and lagar and gay men in enjoyed the ambience and nice and clean toilets

On the 11th of March 2026, I came to R-Bar and when I was dancing, a guy came up behind me and sexually assaulted me from behind. He tried to apologise but I went to the cloakroom desk and told them. We went around the bar to find him but I couldn't see him until we went outside again where the guy came up to me and apologised. I told the bouncer who simply went up to the guy and spoke to him. I was told the guy wouldn't bother me again but he wasn't removed or reported to the police as he stayed with his group at the venue. I was later asked by a member of staff if I was okay but I told her what happened, but again nothing happened. I reported it to the police who checked and saw that there was no report from the bar despite the bouncer being told, a member of staff and one of the managers who was behind the cloakroom bar. I even remember a guy who was wearing a grey jumper who was a lot older say he was no longer on shift as if to say its not his problem and he doesn't care. The bouncer was talking to this guy after we did a lap around the bar to find the guy. This happened around 11:35 to 11:50pm. For your safety, please be aware of this bar.

We were 4 friends with the right id’s and at the right time but the security person said”your four are not going in because im not in the mood” they are racist, they were not allowing anyone belonging to a diff background in, only britishers allowed i guess, on inquiring the reason for no entry they said we dont have to give you guys a reason, off you go.

Extremely disappointed with our recent experience. My friends and I (all brown students) tried to enter the club over 3 nights and were repeatedly denied entry by the bouncers. During the same time, we clearly witnessed white groups being allowed in without any issues. This treatment felt discriminatory and unfair. Clubs should be places where everyone feels welcome and safe, regardless of their background. We are deeply upset and will not be returning, and we strongly encourage management to investigate this behaviour from their security staff. No one should be excluded because of the colour of their skin. 🤬👎🏻

Okay place, safe space for fellow lgbtq people and thought it was great to play the football for queer football fans, and the board games were fun to play. My biggest issues: glasses were everywhere - all surfaces were sticky. Worst of all, was waiting in a queue for a drink, 2 servers on bar. One was busy serving big group of people. Other one decided to leave me and multiple other people waiting while she wrote on chalkboard signs. I am a bartender and i find it disrespectful and unacceptable to leave customers waiting for trivial things like signs. CUSTOMERS COME FIRST!
