This was such an amazing getaway! My husband surprised me with a weekend away here as a treat for maid of honouring at my sister’s wedding. Caitlyn was amazing, she greeted us with a warm and friendly welcome. Her service was spectacular and I will always treasure her hospitality. The venue itself was gorgeous. It gave me bridgerton vibes and was spacious with a gorgeous view. Our room was the highlight of our stay, I really wish we could stay longer. It was clean, spacious and bright - i really wish we didn’t have to leave. Thank you so much and we will definitely be back!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect getaway - we’ll definitely be back! We stayed at Winstanley House from 05/04/2026 to 06/04/2026 for a quick break. My wife had just been maid of honour at her sister’s wedding, and I wanted to surprise her with a well-deserved break to help her relax. It was the perfect choice! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Caitlin, who was absolutely lovely. She provided the most wonderful service from start to finish and made us feel so welcome - thank you so much, Caitlin, you were fantastic! Our suite was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had a stunning view from the window. The building and grounds are simply beautiful, full of character and charm. There’s also plenty of parking available on-site, which made everything so convenient. We had an amazing time and I’m already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend!

Great place to meet special friend

I have been using this venue for over 3 years and have generally had a positive experience in the past, despite a few minor issues. I recently chose to use the City Rooms again for a charity event, as I was familiar with the space. However, my most recent experience was disappointing. The approach felt overly focused on financial aspects, with significant pressure to sign contracts quickly. It came across as lacking flexibility and understanding, particularly given that the event was for a charitable cause. Unfortunately, this experience has changed my perception, and I would not recommend their service based on how this was handled.
