Glenfield Lodge Guest House

Hong Kong Fuey! I thought I'd be relaxing upon the dales of Glenfield and frollicking across the embankment to pass the time of this most mild Winter season. The rope bridge painting is fantastic. Rue mes amis, bowl the soufflé, spork en glenney? Field de la foot ey? Sure no pull the nouille et zingiber ooilley! I don't really care where it's at currently... ...get some raisins! Got dates?

This was my first time staying in the Glenfield Lodge guest house and it was actually really good. The room I was staying in was really clean, the lady working here was very friendly showed us where everything was, and the price of it was really good. Its a very good place to stay and very affordable would highly recommend this to people and could definitely end up returning again.

The person who checked me in and showed me the room was very welcoming and kind. Unfortunately the walls are paper thin so I could hear every word from the noisy musician in the room next door all night and the guy banging around on the ceiling from 6am. Room could really use better insulation or a fan to at least try to cover up the noise.

It wasn't expected that much but we're so impressed of it. So good and can be recommended.

Pleasantly surprised…..swift check in, polite service, clean sheets and towels, large room. What’s not to like?

Clean Kettle tea/coffee in room Fridge too, little freezer compartment Communal bathroom and toilet. Needs updating. But generally clean. Staff friendly. Need to be more available , both in person and on phone. As reception isn’t always manned. But helpful Price very good. Parking is an issue at night. 14 rooms and 3 parking spaces, sometime on street parking available. Good location

Spacious, clean, nice and quiet room with a comfortable bed and free parking added. Friendly Staff. All round was great for a two night stay on a limited budget.

Can’t imagine having a checkin time for an hotel or guest house. I had just got in from London and I got to the hotel after 1PM and I was turned back that I can’t checkin till 5PM. Where do you expect me to go? Worse place ever. I won’t recommend.

Room was clean and bright, small and had separate bathroom but the facilities were just next door to my room, and for the price I was happy!
