Croft Hotel

Clean room with clean towels and sheets. Shower seemed decent and bathroom recently renovated? Reasonable decor. Felt reasonably safe staying there. Very close to uni - 15 min walk. Tv didn't work. Kettle but no drinkable water. "Put sanitary products in bin" but no bin. Parking confusing, felt like I was risking a fine everytime I used it. Car park dead but hotel full of waifs and strays (halfway house?). Communal areas didn't smell pleasant and stained. Floorboards uneven at top of stairs. Please read TripAdvisor reviews.

Nice clean rooms, staff very helpful, good location

Stayed here one night in 2023 and for my sins had to deal with bed-bugs at home for a week. I emailed them to let them know at the time but was completely ignored. came up in conversation today which reminded me to leave a well-deserved review :) take care of yourselves and book somewhere else!

So booked purely on price, some mixed reviews. I booked on hotels.com so 2 nights Mon,Tues cost £108 quid , car park is small and anpr so put ur reg in at reception, no deposit taken for keys as it did state this and proof of I'd on arrival. I was in room 26 so up 2 flights of stairs, the bathroom has been refurbished . TV no remote control. Don't know WiFi password , wasn't provided. Room was clean , beds made each day. Decor old , hairdrier , heater ,kettle in room . It's OK for limited budget, Bed was cheap but comfy. Based on price it's OK.

This place is a dumping ground for the homeless, if you want a hostel then this is the place togo. The staff are very rude and when a complaint is made they dont want to listen and threaten to kick you out 🤦‍♂️ avoid at all costs! No stars !
