Charlotte House

Overall it's a bit dated and dark, no lifts, just 2 floors. The car park for an overnight stop equates to £10.30 so please factor that into your costs. The building becomes fairly staff less at around 9pm so door lock codes are given at reception with WiFi codes too. As for the rooms I must admit they could have been better. Our room for boiling hot and we struggled to turn off the radiator but found an air conditioning unit which stopped working after 5 minutes. The room had tea/coffee making facilities and a decent shower room with lovely towels and shampoo and body wash facilities too. Overall not a bad stay.... We gave the continent breakfast offering included in the price a wide birth. Not bad but needed to be better considering it's excellent location near to the Lincoln Castle, cathedral and the Lincoln nightlife.

Suites are okay but very much catering for a 'romantic' vibe and weddings. A little bit old fashioned for me. Four poster bedroom v dark and 'chintzy'. However, we had a decent, light bathroom with both a large bath and shower. Situated right outside Lincoln Castle, so excellent location.

A very pleasant stay in a nice hotel. The location is excellent close to the castle and cathedral. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast was nice and the room was comfortable. Parking was a bit tricky as we turned up at midday and there were minimal spaces so would suggest you try get there early.

We recently stayed at Charlotte House for a 2 night stay. On arrival, we were told there would be a party being held at the hotel on our 2nd night. After our first night, we discovered that our room would be overlooking where the party was being held and informed staff. They couldn't do enough for us regarding sorting this out, especially Sally! We ended up being moved to the bridal suite which was amazing and beautiful to stay in. No extra expense to pay and we even got some free drinks in the bar. Highly recommend staying at Charlotte House and will do in future. Thanks once again 😁

We pre paid on booking.com for 1 night at this hotel. On arrival could not find hotel as no lit signs outside? It costs £10 to park the car. Hotel is in the middle of a public car park? Doors close at 9pm, no bar or facilities, breakfast included is continental and not cooked or hot. Room wastage basic, 1 towel on bed for 2 people, shower only - we did not stay and found another very comfortable hotel nearby for the same price with everything the CHH dies not have - Booking.com and hotel refuse refund even though we did not stay at the hotel There are plenty of other hotels I would avoid this one.

Beautiful rooms which have everything you'll need and more. They have a continental breakfast but there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby if you fancy a,traditional English Breakfast.

Excellent hotel fantatically located next to the castle. Great comfotable clean room, great breakfast in a beautiful setting. Good wifi and ample parking.
