Stayed with boyfriend for the weekend as had tickets to see snow patrol on the waterfront (absolutely amazing) and found the staff to be very helpful and friendly especially Jake. My first stay in Liverpool and boy was it brilliant, a simple call to get a taxi and your in city centre within minutes. Cavern club was a brilliant night out with range of bands and atmosphere to go with. Will be back in future. Thank you all 😊

This was a gift so more annoyed for them paying over inflated price!!!! £215 for 1nt + £50 for half dead bunch of M&S roses & bottle of wine. Very overpriced for what it is. It's a pub with rooms. It's way too far out if you're wanting to visit Liverpool. No reception staff if any problems. Had to ask bar staff when tv wasn't working. Rooms ok, decor nice, clean enough. Bed small! The rest is poor, don't be fooled by the image of the outside of the building. It's in a cobbled back street & that's where you park.

Staff, parking and the bedroom are spot on. But the bathroom could do with some love. The bathroom door hinges are missing screws, causing the door to hang on the hinges- it needs lifting to shut. (Room 12). There is a blocked drain smell in the bathroom. The hinges for the shower screen are faulty, causing water to drip down the side as a result the side of the bath has warped. Im not sure what the thermostat does because it was 24 degrees on a night which was a bit rough... there is no visible aircon unit and I couldn't see any vents in the room, so Im Not sure how it controls the temperature. Ive put the location down to 4 stars because of people having weed in the front of the property -within the property boundaries, under the outdoor seating area - doesn't give confidence for Leaving the car parked at the front
