I never usually write reviews, but I was very disappointed. As far as the prices go, you can get a lot more for less; rival hotels offer swimming pools, gyms, saunas, and more. Even the Travelodge is three times cheaper and much cleaner. First of all, there is no parking, and because it is in the centre I paid £20.50 for one night. Upon arrival we received a warm welcome from the receptionist. When entering the building, the communal lighting comes on so late that I was opening the door before it actually turned on. Now for the actual problems: photos cannot convey smells, but the room had a musky, damp odor. The curtains do not block out the light, you cannot open the windows, and the wardrobe is battered. The bathroom floor has a large hole and several smaller ones; the light switch is hanging off; there is a small open panel in the bathroom full of insulation; the bed is two singles pushed together as a double; the wallpaper is torn; I could hear everything from the neighbouring rooms; and the toilet had dirt marks around the rim. The list goes on. We stayed In room 214, They suggest the Q park hotel which is around a 13 minute walk, This came to £27 when you can park right next to the hotel In Victoria Street Car Park and it was £20 with Cameras everywhere. The location is spot on, 5 minute drive from the docks, A couple feet away from the city centre.
