Bermondsey Square Hotel

The hotel is comfortable, quiet, and well-located (30 minutes by public transport from St. Pancras, 10 minutes walk from London Bridge station). The staff are helpful. Note that breakfast is halal.

Stayed here the night before the London marathon. Hotel was perfect location, so close to London bridge station. Room was lovely, very clean, lots of room and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was included if you booked direct, good breakfast buffet, lots of options. Would definitely stay again if needing a hotel in central London. Staff were also super helpful

Booked this hotel with a group of colleagues. Arrived and was greeted by a rather sombre and unenthusiastic female member of staff, who was adamant that I had to leave a credit card for pre- authorisation for any damages despite a company card being used for the reservation of all the booking. What made it worse was one of my colleagues refused and was told "thats fine I'll use your colleagues card for authorisation". What i found out afterwards was that the other 4 colleagues were not asked for this pre-authorisation. The room was fine apart from the TV had a mind of its own to the extent that on the following morning it refused to work at all. The bar and restaurant had been closed the night before but was now open for breakfast with both cold and hot food on offer. I chose the hot option but regretted it straight away. Watery scrambled eggs with no taste, mushrooms that were rock hard and bacon that resembled turkey rashers. None of it edible, and the service was abrupt and uncaring. Overall a poor experience, not just for me but my colleagues who also didn't rate the experience.
