Male bouncer made an unsolicited menopause joke towards my friend as we were leaving. Ladies don't spend your hard earned cash here. Misogyny is alive and well. Even around somewhere as seemingly progressive as Canal Street. There are better bars and better safe spaces to enjoy a night out in Manchester. Edit: The fact that the manager has been completely unresponsive to this review yet has easily managed to get back to the more recent reviews written by men says it all..

Fabulous venue great staff and great cabaret

Somebody tell me why I hadn't visited here earlier. I had such a lovely time. The place is bright, vibrant and full of joy. The drinks too are so nice, I absolutely have to go back and try more of the specialty cocktails because some of the ones I had such as the Evil Queen were superb. Even on the mocktail side when I decided I wanted one was perfect (Ordered the Matilda drink). All the showtunes and musical numbers too felt so happy. Loved it.

You have to go in a group to be able to enter, otherwise it's not allowed, that's what the security guard told me.

A small subterranean bar with some amazing cocktails at decent prices, great if its not busy but can get a little too full and warm when it is busy.

Unfortunately this bar has really gone down in recent years. The quantity and price of the drinks during Pride was outrageous. See photos of the "Strawberry Daiquiri" at £11 each and tasted vile.

If you love musicals then you have to go.

Really bad experience. No single entry. I was trying to meet friends. Completely sober. Don't go here.
