Old Town House, Margate

We had an amazing stay

Very comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, beautifully refurbished and decorated with high quality wallpaper, beautiful blinds etc. Bijous but not cramped. Lovely botanical products in the ensuite toilet and shower. Located in the middle of everything but just back from the seafront so quiet at night. Entrance is via code, although someone was there before check-in to leave luggage with and we swiftly got a room card too (requested via the responsive WhatsApp number). It was all very easy.

Beautiful place to stay

We had an excellent stay at the Old Town House. The whole experience felt high-end from start to finish - beautifully designed rooms, immaculate attention to detail, and a really relaxed luxury atmosphere throughout. The location in the heart of Margate’s Old Town was perfect, with everything just a short walk away. The service and check in experience was exceptional: warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Every part of the stay felt thoughtfully curated, from the stylish interiors to the quality of the amenities. The snacks and treats provided were also a lovely touch. An excellent all-round experience and easily one of the best places to stay in Margate. Highly recommended - we’ll definitely return.

Old Town House is a fantastic find. It's right in Market Place, steps from the coast and great restaurants. • The Room (Room 3): Stunning space with a massive king bed and views of the square. The bathroom is renovated with a great shower. Everything is clean and organized. • Amenities: They provide a Nespresso machine (with pods), a kettle, water, and snacks. • Check-in: It's all virtual. They text you instructions and it's a seamless process. • Location: Only a 15-minute walk from the rail station. If you're traveling light, it’s an easy walk. The whole place is extremely well-run. I’d definitely stay here again.

I highly recommend staying at the Old Town House. I have stayed there twice now and in my opinion the location can’t be beaten. The rooms are tastefully decorated and Mark and team are really helpful. Can’t wait to come back!

Single night in Margate on Easter road trip around South-East England. Perfect location to get the special bohemian vibe Margate is so synonymous with.

I was satisfied because we were warmly welcomed and the quality services, from the staff's behavior to the quality of things in the room: air, bed, coffee, cleanliness. I experienced maximum satisfaction.

As a small cafe owner I love seeing people like yourselves succeed. You truly deserved to win 4 in a bed. Both yourselves and Saban are genuine, likeable and honest people. I'm so pleased Saban overpaid as much as he did after two massively and unfair underpayments from the others! Keep being you!
