Client who had personal issue got bouncers he knows to kick someone out. Bouncer was aggressive and assaulted me for no stated reason.

Some debatable attitude by bouncers but alright place bounce to afters

The bouncers are absolutely vile, shoving and pushing drunken teenage girls around outside because they “can” !! pushing them so hard they fall down and they smirk at you when ur on the floor in a vulnerable state. No offer of help, to ring a taxi, to find friends, NO CONCERN FOR PEOPLES AND PUBLIC SAFETY AT ALL.

Described as a gay bar on google but let’s be clear - it USED to be a gay nightclub but currently lets anyone in and is absolutely NOT a welcoming LGBTQ+ safe space anymore and hasn’t been for years. Read the other reviews. Powerhouse don’t even promote themselves as a gay venue anymore on socials. It’s open later than other venues so gets full of very rowdy aggressive drunks and chavs and I’ve had homophobic comments from the bouncers before. The bouncers also aren’t there for safety/wellbeing - some are just looking for an excuse to get “rough” with punters using their armband as a “legitimate” excuse.

AVOID!! Worst night club I've been in my life .. £20 to get in, the music is horrible, the drinks are very expensive (rip off) you better find another one.

My friends were charged £10 for entry and I was charged £ twenty, I was only in here for 30 minutes!!!! First time ever coming to this establishment and it will probably be the last, rude communication from the Facebook page, just reading your messages one after the other without replying! tried to be nice when I was told that the reason I was charged was because friends bought a wristbands I hadn’t, but then I asked well how do you buy the wristbands for next time because no one even mentioned it!? no response.. just pure daylight robbery, I am have autism and I struggled getting back home was trying to save my last tenner to go halfers in a taxi, as for the overall experience I was told this was a gay club? Why are there straight men snd straight couples eveywhere? Not as it was described to me.
