Gut Level

Gut Level is a queer-run, not-for-profit community arts space and licensed bar hidden away on Chapel Walk in Sheffield city centre. Volunteer-led and members-supported, it has become one of the strongest anchors of the city's LGBTQ+ and underground music scenes, hosting club nights, DJ sets, live music, workshops and exhibitions. The vibe is unpretentious and inclusive, with a bar and a dancefloor that fill up for its regular queer and alternative events. It sits a couple of doors from Juno Books on the same pedestrian lane, forming a small pocket of independent queer-friendly culture in the centre.
