Will be making a formal complaint to Cornwall council. It is 30-05-2026 the time is 01:13. The pub is officially closed and the staff are continuing to play loud music and karaoke just for themselves with no duty of care to their guests. I’m pretty sure that they do not hold an entertainment license for the hours of 11pm-8am.

Hot water, heather, WiFi and window not working. They don’t even provide soap and when I asked for it, they told me to buy it from the shop. The room that I booked was dirty, and they gave me a smaller room. The key for the outside door wasn’t even working and they had to replace it. I could feel all the springs of the bed on my back. When I complained about all of this stuff, they said that they’re not turning on the heather as it’s not cold, but there are just 13 degrees, and they tried to fix the hot water matter, but after the failed they spoke to the manager and said that’s I’ll have to complaint to the site that I booked with. Never been in such a bad place.

Popped in for a last drink on a Saturday night as my friend was staying there. Utterly horrific. Music blasting so loud that you couldn’t hear yourself think, in an effectively empty pub where the barmaid was hammering shots with her mates and looked extremely put out that we should dare want to be served. My friend’s account of the room and service wasn’t much better. Loose shower, mouldy bath seals, flaking paint and a mattress that was as comfortable as a bed of rocks. Such a shame as it has so much potential to be a great B&B and pub. Staff seems very disinterested.

Dreadfull. Room stank of smoke. Matres felt like the cast of Ben Her had slept in it and left stains. I walked out, got in my car and left
