Zest Boutique Hotel (Villa Zest)

We spent the final evening of our trip to the Western Cape in the Zest Boutique hotel and it was a great end to a great trip. The hotel team were so friendly and it’s only a short walk down to the V&A Waterfront. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at Zest Boutique Hotel! The location is excellent, and we felt very safe and comfortable throughout our visit. The team were incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating, making our stay even more special. Our room was beautifully decorated, with lovely attention to detail, and the shower was amazing! As we were celebrating our honeymoon, the team had gone the extra mile with gorgeous romantic decorations in our room, including rose petals, towel hearts and a lovely bottle of wine. Such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more memorable! Breakfast was delicious, and the wonderful selection of wines and gins was an added bonus. A beautiful boutique hotel with a relaxed atmosphere, fantastic hospitality and so many thoughtful little touches. We would highly recommend Zest Boutique Hotel to anyone visiting Cape Town and would happily stay again!

We had a great experience at Zest Hotel, where we spent only one night in Cape Town for the second match between the Springboks and All Blacks. We were very well received and found a very clean, cozy, and comfortable hotel. The room was a good size and the bed linens were impeccably clean. For a short stay, it met our expectations very well. We also like to understand the hotel's concern for sustainability. There was a bucket in the shower stall to collect the water that would normally be wasted while the shower was not reaching the ideal temperature, allowing for its later reuse. The idea is excellent and demonstrates an environmental concern that deserves to be valued. As a suggestion, perhaps the hotel could find a different solution for the collection, as the bucket inside the shower is not very visually pleasing. Another very positive point was the service at the time of departure. We need to leave the hotel at 3:50 AM to catch our flight, and even at that time, we were very well received and attended to at check-out. The cordiality and attention of the team made a difference. Overall, our impression was very positive: an honest, very clean, comfortable, and welcoming hotel. A great option for those looking for a pleasant stay in Cape Town.

Fabulous little hotel, well situated for V&A Waterfront and eating out. We were greeted by Chanelle on our arrival, who gave us a little guided tour and history of the accommodation, and made sure we were comfortable and refreshed while we waited a short time for our room (we were early. All of the staff were friendly and cheerful, the breakfast options were great, and the complimentary cake of the day was a fabulous bonus!! With a turn down service and a postcard to send home all included, we loved this place

Great location near the Waterfront, spacious room, friendly and attentive staff (special mention for the afternoon pastries, a treat!), I highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful hotel in Cape Town. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast and all day tea, coffee, hot bev in the lobby. Amazing homemade cake each afternoon into evening. Immaculate rooms and facility. I travel over 100 nights per year and wish all my hotels were like the Zest Boutique Hotel. I’m just sad I didn’t have a chance to try one of their hand crafted drinks from their showcase gin bar. Next time!

Very nice hotel in a great location close to the v&a waterfront and the hotspot sumerset road in Cape Town. The rooms are very nice and stylish. The hotel has a cool 70s touch with a modern style. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is good - bedding is super comfortable. Rooms are spacious absolutely to recommend.

We really loved this hotel, love the quiet atmosphere in the city centre. The hotel is in a great location, and you can walk to many of the city's attractions. room was really good, great shower. Breakfast was amazing, and they also serve coffee and cake in the afternoon The best thing about the hotel is the staff - the duty manager was amazing and really helpful. We will definitely return in the future

Outstanding Hospitality My experience from when I first I arrived to when I left was outstanding! The staff were welcoming, friendly and accomodation! The rooms are 5 Star for sure and generous with a his and hers bathroom beautifully laid out! The tea/coffee/snacks bar also great! I had such lovely sleep and was surprisingly quiet given its proximity to Central Greenpoint. Speaking of which, the location is excellent to walk to the stadium, restaurants and even the V&A Waterfront! The breakfast was pretty generous including a breakfast pack that was useful to me as a marathon runner. The Cherry-on-top was how the staff were generous enough to allow me to refresh after I had already checked out on the same morning after my race! I’m not staying anywhere else on the seaboard in future! 😅 10/10
