I had a really bad experience last night when I went to the beat with a group of friends. There was a creep that groped me and several of my friends, pressed himself against me, etc. When I separated myself and went to an empty table away from people to center myself because this brought back some really terrible feelings for me, not making any kind of scene or shambling or slurring or anything, a female member of staff named Shantelle (I could be wrong about the spelling, I'm unsure) immediately came up to me and said I needed to leave. I tried to tell her that I'm not disturbing anybody, I'm just taking a second in a quieter spot because somebody touched and squeezed me without my consent and she goes "There's drunk and then there's inebriated, you have to leave." I left and it took me hysterically crying outside and telling the other members of security who I didn't get the names of but handled it more decently that I was kicked out for getting a little emotional because I was groped and squeezed on several parts of my body. Yes I was a little drunk but I wasn't disturbing anybody and I definitely wasn't wasted by any means, so there was no reason to be singled out like this. Just to summarise, I was the one punished for being touched without my consent and I'm still not one hundred percent convinced that they didn't just let me back in because telling people who checked on me about this was bad for their business. Not to mention, we were all blamed after for not 'saying something about the man sooner.'

My friends and I went to the beat on the 12th of June and the bartender Kris was amazing. So funny and kind i appreciated his care when I came to making our drinks and helping me keep an eye out for my friends. He deserves a raise! 10/10 would come again.
