Alivio Tourist Park Canberra

Such a great and well thought out Tourist Park. Spacious for our group of 7. Location was abit far from everything by foot,but was a respectable drive to the shops.One of us did lose a loved cap that disappeared after housekeeping came around. This person is very particular about their belongings,so they know exactly where they put things

Old cottage … in very bad condition… smelly , toilet not clean properly , dust on the top shelf and back of door , door handles very dirty and sticky marks . Only bed made and carpet vacuum walk area ( not under the bed , next to couch) they need to deep clean once a month . It’s my 2 times experience .. 1- time it was very bad they changed the room but no heating working in cold night .. freeze to death . 2- this time hygiene issue . They should deep clean and fix toilets , air conditioning, dry cleaners blankets. Nothing going back

Been here 3 times very cheap not too far of a drive from my house has a pool a soccer court a basketball court and some rentable e scooters

Clean , excellent staff( Eddie at reception was incredibly friendly, courteous and helpful) , great food from the restaurant( the beetroot soup… yup you read it right was superb as was the mushroom soup)… park well managed and the location to get anywhere in Canberra was good… worth a stay ( the only down side was the ENS were dated)

Had a good time here with the family which the park caters for. Will just have to drive to drive 10 mins away to get to anything. It is a little in no mans land.

This is our second time here. The Tourist Park is well set up to cater for families and couples. Surrounded by bush and walking/biking trails brings nature close and enhances the experience. Set on the periphery of the built environment means nothing of significance is extremely close, but also that nothing in Canberra is further than a reasonable drive. Staff at the park were very friendly and helpful. Facilities in cabins show some ageing but are very adequate.

I've stayed here on a number of occasions with a group of mates, and have previously found it to be great. However, on my most recent stay, an additional charge was applied to my credit card without authority after I'd checked out. After enquiring as to what this was for, I was advised this was an error, and that a refund would be forthcoming. I'm still waiting for the refund, more than a fortnight after my stay and when I followed up I was advised there's nothing could be done. Sadly this means you've lost me as a customer and all for a measly $66.02.
