The location was good, and the room's facilities were decent, but the cleanliness was terrible; there were stains on the sheets. The check-in signage was unclear, and the front door was incredibly difficult to open. Luckily, a guest came in and helped open it so I could check in using my tablet. When I called from the tablet, a male staff member video-called us; his English was terrible, he couldn't explain clearly, told us to wait, and then the video call ended. I had to call three times before a kinder female staff member assisted me using translation software. Check-in wasted an hour of my time.

Checking into this hotel is impossible for people who do not speak Japanese and there aren't any help from SPAZIO team. This isn't an hotel.

It's really good, but one downside is that the room cleaning is poor. When I look at it in the sunlight, I see clumps of dust rolling around under the bed. I did it myself, but this is the second time, and it's the same.

I was looking for accommodation near Canal City Hakata (for one night). The room felt like a regular apartment that had been slightly modified for private lodging. The check-in facility was in a different location (quite a distance from the hotel, which was a bit of a hassle...). The view from the room was great. I think the price is reasonable for international travelers. The location is difficult to access by car. I recommend walking. Around 5,000 yen per night. Really clean. Separate bathroom and toilet. Water heater is manually charged. Gas stove available. Washing machine available. LED lighting. Free Wi-Fi available. 40-inch wall-mounted TV available. Amenities: Body soap, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent (powder). Bed available. Within a 10-minute walk from Canal City Hakata. Nearest shrines: Kushida Shrine, Sumiyoshi Shrine. 1-minute walk from Lawson. Coin parking available throughout. [January 2020]
