The facilities are generally old. While it appears to be cleaned, the coffee maker in the room was broken or didn't work properly. I appreciated that they held my luggage after check-out. The direct connection to Shin-Kobe Station is convenient, but there aren't many restaurants or other amenities around the station, so I felt the convenience was somewhat lacking. I wouldn't recommend it as a base for sightseeing in Kobe. The breakfast was a buffet style with a good variety of dishes. There were many foreign tourists, perhaps more than Japanese.

The location is fantastic. Directly connected to the subway passageway. There's also a supermarket there. It was great. The rooms are clean too.

I booked a room with breakfast included at a relatively low price thanks to a special offer. Although it is a bit old and shows signs of age, it was kept clean, so I had a pleasant stay without any complaints or inconveniences. In particular, the front desk staff made me feel very good on the first day thanks to their kind explanations and guidance. They asked for my understanding regarding the slight disarray due to ongoing renovations. I would definitely like to visit again.

A place where the quality of the breakfast and lounge takes precedence over the service. It is a shame that there were several instances of service errors.

I went to visit a friend. It was right in front of JR Shin-Kobe Station. It was a nice hotel.

The location is perfect, right next to Shin-Kobe Station, with direct train access. The Ayubiki Falls are just a short walk from the back hill, making it easy to take a stroll. The hotel provides umbrellas and taxi services when it rains. There are restaurants on each floor, offering Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine – all conveniently located. The bar and dessert shops on the 4th floor are also great options for relaxation. Overall, it's a very worthwhile hotel.

I saw many foreign guests, but the prices were reasonable and not unnecessarily inflated, which I appreciated. The bathroom facilities were also of excellent quality for the price, which I liked.

This is my second hotel stay. It is about 1.2 km from Sannomiya Station. The room condition feels a bit dated in terms of carpet and facilities, but it is generally clean. The partition between the room and the bathroom is unique! The view overlooking both the mountains and the sea is fantastic. The happy hour at the 37th-floor lounge only offers very simple snacks. It is difficult to have a full meal there compared to other lounges. It is reasonable for the price.

I don't know why people complain? This is the best hotel in Japan! I stayed here in March as well as another stay 10 years ago.The design reminds me of a spaceship from Star Wars. First the staff - Very friendly. Very helpful. Always with a smile. The architecture of this hotel is amazing .. even though it has an 80s/90s feel - that itself is the attraction! It reminds you of the high life of previous years. Kenny G playing his saxophone on the 20th floor .. luxury dinners and wines. This is the old "style" that a lot of people want returned so why complain? The sharp pointy roof is unbelievable .. anyway enough on the spaceship design. Next is the rooms. Huge, spacious rooms with incredible views. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are ok. It is clean. The hotel is very close to important attractions like the Nunobiki gondola up the mountain and the interesting natural forested areas and herb gardens and majestic Nunobiki Waterfall. Also the hotel is only a 10 minute walk to the interesting colonial precinct of Kitano village featuring a lot of well preserved ex shipping merchant houses. Best of all? The price is reasonable. The hotel has its own direct sheltered walkway to Shin Kobe Station .. Lawson and Coco Curry is walking distance down the road. I give the ANA Crown Plaza Kobe 10/10
