Anantara Chiang Mai Resort

My friend and I stayed here for four days, and it was such a lovely experience from start to finish. The staff made us feel genuinely welcome, and the whole place had a warm, cozy atmosphere that made it easy to relax. The location was also really convenient, which made getting around a breeze. We especially enjoyed the spa - it was incredibly soothing - and the breakfast spread was fantastic, with so many delicious options to choose from. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. One of the highlights was the private two-day tour we booked. We were accompanied by a wonderful driver and tour guide who were both so kind and attentive, which made the experience even more special. We would absolutely recommend this place and would love to come back again someday!

Nice Feel good

My stay at the Anantara Chiang Mai Resort was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the service, attention to detail, and warmth of the team made this one of the most memorable hotel experiences I’ve had anywhere in the world. A very special mention must go to Tuk, the manager, who is truly outstanding. She leads with genuine care, grace, and professionalism, and you can feel her influence throughout the entire property. Tuk has that rare ability to make every guest feel personally valued and completely looked after. Her attentiveness, kindness, and calm leadership turned an already beautiful stay into something unforgettable. She is exactly the type of leadership every luxury property hopes to have. The resort itself is stunning — peaceful, elegant, and perfectly positioned by the river. Every detail feels thoughtful and refined, from the rooms to the dining experiences and overall atmosphere. A true five-star experience in every sense. I cannot recommend Anantara Chiang Mai highly enough, and Tuk deserves enormous recognition for the incredible standard she sets.

The hotel is very nice (common areas), but the rooms aren't as good; they feel old. The worst part was the mattress and pillows; they seem to be over 10 years old. The only thing that saved our stay was the friendliness and excellent service of the staff.

We would give this place more than 5 stars if we could! Everything was perfect! My husband and I spent a few days of our honeymoon at Anantara Chiang Mai and after staying at other hotels we wished we stayed at Anantara longer! The staff are all so accommodating and do it with a smile! The breakfast buffet was also the best we had in all of Thailand! 10/10 recommend staying here!!

The overall environment is excellent, the staff are very friendly, and the breakfast selection is good. Dining outdoors by the Pinghe River gives it a very resort-like feel. The hotel's overall design is very tasteful and relaxing. Sitting on the suite's balcony in the morning, you can hear birdsong, like being in a wild jungle – very unique. However, it's a bit odd that construction cargo and guest rooms share the same entrance, which is a little disappointing. The location requires a taxi ride from the old town.

Perfect

A four-day, three-night experience organized by Taishin and the Resort Club At member prices, it was truly excellent value for money. The room type, service, facilities, and atmosphere were all superb. From the fragrance at the lobby entrance, the olfactory experience immediately created a "resort scent," instantly relaxing my body. The first two nights were already incredibly worthwhile. I will continue to explore the potential of the Tower during my stay.

The service was good, and the room was okay. However, it would be better if the bathroom had a separate, enclosed section with sliding doors. The clear glass shower enclosure wasn't very comfortable to use while showering (the glass on the toilet side was still frosted).

Great room and amazing service. Charles was the best and super nice. The breakfast was also incredible. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful modern rooms, excellent food. The hotel is close to downtown and on the Ping river. The staff was super helpful and great with my 10 year old son. Can't wait to go back.
