The Lapis Hotel

I recently had a very pleasant stay at The Lapis Hotel during my business trip to Hanoi and consider it a worthwhile 4-star hotel. The biggest plus is its location. The hotel is situated right on Tran Hung Dao street, in the city center but not too noisy. It's about 500 meters from the 108 Hospital and Hoan Kiem Lake, and there are many diverse restaurants nearby, so you don't have to worry about food. Getting to tourist attractions is also very convenient. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic and welcoming; from the reception to the service staff, everyone is friendly and provides quick assistance – this is something I highly appreciate. The rooms are a bit small but are very well-arranged, with a modern, neat, clean design and a pleasant scent. The amenities are complete and suitable for both business trips and short stays. The breakfast buffet is decent, not overly elaborate but includes all the basic dishes and is quite well-prepared. A minor but noteworthy plus point is the swimming pool, which, although small, is beautifully designed and clean, perfect for a quick relaxation break after a day of traveling around the city. Standard room rates are around 1.5 million VND per night, which I think is reasonable given the central location and quality of service. A drawback is that the bathroom is a bit small, making it difficult to access the bathtub, and it might not be suitable for the elderly or children.

Overall, a very good hotel. It lacks a bit of attention to detail in some areas, but the value for money is more than acceptable, except for the breakfast, which is overpriced for what it is.

Good service, clean room, I especially liked the bed. I slept well, the sheets were clean.

The hotel is ideally located in Hanoi's Old Quarter, and the staff is incredibly attentive. The rooftop pool and jacuzzi are a real bonus after a day in the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. The rooms are clean and very quiet, no complaints whatsoever. The breakfast buffet is also very good. I highly recommend it!

Very very nice stay at Lapis ❤️

We stayed at this hotel twice as part of a tour. The first time, it was excellent, with a beautiful, spacious room and thoughtful touches for our honeymoon. The second time, two days later, the room was much smaller and there were no rose petals. The service was more basic.
