Hôtel Kolping Vienna

The hotel was good. The room was clean and the room service was very good. However, the mattresses were too soft and therefore a bit uncomfortable. The breakfast was also very tasty. The hotel is very labyrinthine; it feels like being in a maze.

The only good thing is the location, but it's not worth the money for the location, or you could find something better in this location. Don't be fooled by those who say the breakfast is good; it's a standard, basic breakfast. The rooms are like a student dorm, I think it's a dorm converted into a hotel. There's no air conditioning, just a very small fan that's useless.

Very good location - close to two metro lines. Nice area, full of cafes, museums, flea market. Friendly and energetic staff. I used the garage, which is recommended in this area. Clean and good quality.

The room size was perfect, breakfast was also fine, the coffee was delicious, and the young trainee was super sweet and friendly – ​​thank you! 🥰 The shower was small but okay. Unfortunately, the room wasn't air-conditioned, so it was quite warm. Having a fan in the room was a good solution, but then a small refrigerator in the room would have been a real shame, so you could at least have cool drinks when it's so incredibly hot. A coffee machine at reception would also be a good idea; that was definitely missing. The surrounding area with construction noise... well, you can't change that, and it shouldn't always be like that... What's a pity is that the buildings are right next to each other, there's no green space, and people have to let their dogs do their business there, which is clearly visible everywhere – pee stains on the sidewalk and on the buildings... not very appealing.

Very nice hotel, well-connected, and with a generous breakfast. The only flaw: there's no air conditioning. We were there during a heatwave that reached 38/40 degrees, and we suffered quite a bit from the heat.
