Hôtel Atomi

I didn't see anyone from reception. You get a code for your room in advance. The room was clean, the bathroom a bit less so. It wasn't really warm in the room either. The shower itself was fine. Furthermore, the whole hotel feels rather dated. It's also very noisy. You could clearly hear the neighbors. Something about birds and bees. So if the neighbors are reading this, thanks! I wouldn't immediately recommend this hotel. For a one-night stay so close to the Atomium and Brussels Expo, it's perfectly manageable.

Cheap hotel with ditto service. I reported a broken bathroom door handle, but later read in other reviews that it happens quite often. The neighbors were having a nice evening together, and you could hear them live. The room was clean, the bathroom could have been cleaner. The shower, on the other hand, was fine! Hot and powerful. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, so if you have difficulty walking, I'd recommend a different hotel. It's well-located near the Brussels Expo, so if you're looking for something cheap for one night, I can recommend it.

Don't book!!!!! Extremely bad!! No reception, no staff on site, you feel totally unsafe, and the rooms are terrible, everything is broken: doors, beds, really everything.

By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. As an experienced traveler, I can safely say that I have regularly stayed in very mediocre hotels in Africa, Asia, and South America. But this Atomi hotel in Brussels is my worst experience to date. The receptionist took off running after we arrived and quickly retreated to a small room behind the reception desk. The phone was not answered, and there was no response to WhatsApp either. There was no toilet paper, and the shower head had broken off, meaning we had to shower under a hose. The bathroom light was also broken. The next morning, the receptionist was again unwilling to speak to us and had locked himself in the small room behind the reception desk once more. Breakfast was not available in the morning. (but I wouldn't have dared to have breakfast here anyway) Do you own a hotel and want to train your staff on how not to do things? Book here! :-)

Very dirty, the room is accessible but the level of cleanliness in the room is very low... the location is excellent for those who come to the expo...

No response to booking request

Everything was terrible. This hotel is a complete mess — no reception, WhatsApp messages never get a reply. The bathroom basin was clogged, so when I washed my face or brushed my teeth, the water nearly flooded the room. I booked 6 nights at this hotel. Since I would be arriving in Brussels early the next morning, I booked the room a day in advance so I wouldn’t have to wait to check in. I sent a message to the number provided to let them know my arrival details — but received no response. When I finally arrived at the hotel the next day, they responded and told me check-in was at 3 PM. I explained that my booking started the day before and fortunately, they checked and eventually gave me the door code. The real nightmare began after that. The door code they gave me was valid for only one day. The next morning, my code didn’t work. I had to approach the housekeeping staff and luckily one of them was kind enough to contact someone for me so I could get a new code. But the same thing happened again the following day, my code stopped working. And this time, my WhatsApp messages to the hotel went completely unanswered (see attached screenshot). Imagine if I had been outside and unable to get back into my own room! The only good part of my stay was the housekeeping guy — he truly went out of his way to help me get a valid code for my entire stay, unlike the official WhatsApp contact who barely responds at all.
