Hôtel Le 830 Namur

At check-in, there was a super friendly and cheerful (Dutch-speaking) man. He said that we had free breakfast included in the room rate. I said that I didn't think that was right because I had booked the cheapest room, without extras (at €115). The man checked it again on the computer and said that breakfast was definitely included in the price. So the next morning, with some doubt, we went to the breakfast room and asked if we were on the list and if breakfast was included. The man spoke English and said he was going to ask at reception just to be sure. He came back and said: "Yes, yes, everything is ok, you have breakfast included." So we had breakfast, and upon checking out, we received a bill for €44 for breakfast from a new receptionist. We said that it had been promised yesterday and that we had asked the man in the breakfast room about it just an hour ago, who had checked with the new receptionist. Suddenly, supposedly no one understood, and the somewhat unfriendly manager/owner came over and acted as if it wasn't possible. A lot of discussion ensued. We refused to pay extra since 3 people had confirmed it. The owner/manager agreed and said that was fine then. In the car on the way back home, we still got a strange feeling about it. It feels like a scam to make you pay for the expensive breakfast anyway. Because it is almost impossible for 3 people to make the same mistake. And the fact that the manager reacts so irritated and acts as if we are at fault just doesn't add up.. - The room was super beautiful and tidy, but the beds are terribly hard, with absolutely no comfort. Not like what we are used to in the Netherlands in terms of luxury/comfort. - Breakfast is perfect.

The bed was really rock hard, got a sore back, and there was a miscommunication about breakfast, but it was resolved well.

We received a very warm welcome upon arrival for our two-night stay. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. We even received a quick message from the owner at breakfast to check if everything was alright! We highly recommend this place without hesitation.

A superb, warm, and welcoming hotel; the reception and setting are perfect. The room is large and spacious. The hotel was tastefully built with an eco-friendly and sustainable approach, notably using sustainable materials.

Arriving very late (after midnight), we received a very warm welcome from the young receptionist. He was very pleasant and friendly. The rooms were truly lovely, comfortable, and spotlessly clean! The breakfast was varied and delicious, with hot dishes available to order. We will definitely return on our next visits to Belgium.

My stay at this hotel was a real disappointment. The rooms were nice, but access to the family room floor is a real problem. The stairs are narrow and the incline is so steep it's actually dangerous. It's incomprehensible for a hotel that's supposed to be family-friendly. As for breakfast, at €21 per person, it's a complete rip-off. The selection was extremely limited and nothing like what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel. And the worst part is, there wasn't even a simple chocolate or vanilla Danette yogurt for the children. It's truly disappointing for an establishment that claims to be high-quality. Very disappointed! I don't recommend it for families.

We were charmed by the place, with its lovely staff, clean facilities, spacious room, beautiful decor, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower made of high-quality materials. I highly recommend the romantic package, where everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail, and ending our stay with a generous and delicious breakfast in our room was the icing on the cake.

Fantastic stay at Hotel 830! Very comfortable rooms, a warm welcome, and an incredibly friendly staff. We were a group of 12 celebrating a 50th anniversary for a weekend, and we were truly pampered. I highly recommend this place!

A wonderful experience with our 3-year-old daughter. The family room was superb and extremely comfortable. The reception staff were very friendly, helpful, and professional. They even gave our Elyne some coloring books and practical information about local attractions. The breakfast was excellent, and our host was truly kind. We highly recommend it. See you soon! :)
