Hôtel Budweis

The hotel was clean. The rooms are modern and spacious. A hairdryer, TV, and ironing board with iron were provided. I couldn't find a safe, but that wasn't a problem. Breakfast was very good and plentiful, as was dinner.

A beautiful historic building that has been wonderfully converted into a great hotel. Unfortunately, the air conditioning can't be controlled, which makes adjusting the temperature a bit tricky. However, they do provide a key for the window upon request, which helps. The old town of České Budějovice is just a few minutes' walk away, and there's plenty to see. The hotel's food is also very good, and there's something for everyone. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

For the price it's really terrible.. breakfast is nothing.. rooms are not much.. and even the cleaning lady came into our room without knocking during the act! 😂 Well, maximum dissatisfaction.. everywhere else for half the money 3x more comfort..

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Budweis Hotel very much. The hotel corresponds to its four-star category, the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. We also appreciate the great location in the center of České Budějovice and the pleasant atmosphere of the entire hotel. The staff was nice and helpful, everything went smoothly and we felt good here. A big plus was the breakfasts were really good and varied. I also appreciate the willingness of the staff, who prepared Hemenex for me without any problems, which I take as a big positive. The only minor thing was the non-functional socket in the bathroom, instead of the non-functional hairdryer, it would perhaps be more practical to have a classic functional socket available. Despite this minor thing, we evaluate the stay very positively and can recommend the hotel.
