Great location in the Marais quarter. Flanked by independent and swanky shops, tasty restaurants, cafes for that Parisian cafe culture, and chocolate shops (I love chocolate). The staff are lovely, welcoming and very personalised service. Truly rate the wonderful staff. The rooms are clean and airy. The hotel is rated as 5*. I would say more low 4* or high 3*. Things like thin towels, décor is a bit tired, having only 3 coat hangers in the tiny wardrobe (for two people staying for a week is not enough). Breakfast is basic, with out-of-date fruit and cakes, situated in a tiny reception room with staff making coffee in a side cupboard behind a pulled curtain. Although, again, the staff are lovely. I would stay here again, as a great location and clean hotel, but only if the price was lowered to reflect the honest level of the hotel appearance and amenities.

A truly wonderful experience! We had a fantastic time with our girlfriends. The hotel is lovely, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was absolutely fabulous: generous, varied, and delicious. A special thank you to Betty and Nicolas for their warm welcome and kindness; it's such a pleasure to encounter such a thoughtful team. I highly recommend this place! ✨

A huge thank you to Betty the manager, Nicolas, the night reception staff, and the entire team for their warm welcome; everything was perfect! We had a wonderful stay. We had a room on the top floor with a lovely balcony, perfect for enjoying a drink in the early evening and having breakfast in the morning.

Wonderful stay at the Dupond-Smith! Most notably the front desk staff (Nicolas in particular) were just phenomenal and very welcoming. Our rooms were clean, well taken care of during our stay, and spacious. The only reduction of a star would be for some nicks and chips in the walls (noticeable in the bathroom) as well as the toilet room door not closing properly. Very minimal things and not all that impactful for our stay as the restroom has a door too. We absolutely adored the patio and used it every night for wine chats ♥️ 10/10 recommend!

Staff was wonderful including Johnson , Nicola, and the gentleman who helped with the luggage on 7/31. The location is prime as it's very diverse/ multicultural! A gentrified area in the heart of Paris which has converted from textile shops to street cafes / restaurants and a few unique nightclubs which stay open all night. It's also close to the Arab Institute Museum and close to Centre Pompidou under construction at the moment which exhibited a major Salvador Dali exhibit several years ago when I last stayed in this area. It is also within very short walking distance to subway station. As French citizens we refrain from the touristy areas and tourist trap parts of town and this area has become an ideal location with cafes / outdoor seating restaurants flooding the streets until late hours of the evening. No views from hotel room, but a Hoka and Coach shop and many more shops which flood the street including a Monoprix nearby. I would say this is a 5 star boutique rather than hotel with everything at your fingertips including a scale , full bathtub and shower, and a secret patio accessible from the shower room which is great for escaping as needed for an emergency cigarette! Room includes a bottle of Bordeaux , coffee , teas, full bar, and extras. My only drawback was the noise from 1st floor of the garbage or recycling truck at 8:15am which was so loud it would awaken me . I wouldn't sleep til 3am as I'm on vacation & it really disrupted my sleep as the hotel walls aren't properly insulated. As for the rest including the customized breakfast it was a wonderful escape! I highly recommend.
