Premier Inn Braunschweig City Centre Hotel

A solid Premier Inn. Very large. Some corridors and walkways are quite long. Rooms are good. Mattresses aren't worn out.

Breakfast was very good and offered a good selection. The rooms are modern and generally fine. The bed linen was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there was an incident that significantly marred our stay: As we were about to go to sleep in the evening, and the room was already dark, we heard an animal crawling in the suspended ceiling. At first, we thought it was a mouse or rat, but it turned out to be a bat. We immediately reported the problem to reception. The staff reacted very professionally and promptly provided us with another room. What bothered me, however, was that, according to the staff, the problem was already known and apparently occurs quite frequently. If that is indeed the case, I find it unacceptable that no lasting solution has been found. A single incident can happen, but with a recurring problem, urgent action should be taken. On the positive side, breakfast, cleanliness, and the helpfulness of the staff deserve special mention. However, due to the incident described and the seemingly known problem, a negative overall impression remains.

A very good hotel for a quick overnight stay.

Not a luxury hotel, but good standard, everything in perfect order.

We had a very nice, large double room. The bathroom and the room were clean and perfectly adequate for a weekend trip to Braunschweig. The hotel is located directly on the pedestrian zone, and the underground parking garage is opposite.
