Absolutely not recommended! I was a client of S.B.'s supported living program and am simply disappointed! From day one, there was no trust, and no appointment lasted longer than a few minutes in a year. Nothing was achieved in that year. Every request for support was questioned, and therefore there was zero help. It was a complete waste of time! However, not all staff members at the AIDS support organization are like this, but my experience was negative, and therefore I cannot recommend them.

You get no help.

A truly fantastic location. As mentioned, it houses AIDS Hilfe Duisburg, outpatient support services, and a host of other offerings, such as breakfast several times a month and coffee and cake on Wednesdays. Please inquire again for the exact dates. A creative workshop project is also taking place in September. Two fixed creative workshops will be offered, and participants can also suggest their own projects or even carry out their own. Again, please inquire for details. I hope it continues for a long time and that the city doesn't cut funding too much. A syringe vending machine, along with aluminum foil, etc., is available on the premises 24 hours a day. This prevents people from sharing old needles or even a syringe. Sharing injections and syringes is always very dangerous. I'm mentioning this again at the end because it's the only vending machine I know of in all of Duisburg. It might even be the only one in Duisburg. Quick tip: the machine doesn't give change, so you should exchange some money beforehand and get 50-cent coins. The aluminum foil was quite useful for me a long time ago. Best regards, G. J. S.d.C.
