Rude staff.

The rooms are far too hot in the summer and the free Wi-Fi is a major security vulnerability.

Upon my arrival, it was very chaotic and crowded, but after a wait, I was allowed to check into my room. The young man at reception was friendly and helpful. A few days earlier, I had requested a lower bed because I had broken my foot. Unfortunately, this request was ignored. Furthermore, everything on-site can only be paid for by card (coffee, drinks, etc.). It's a shame this information isn't readily available. In the common room, the toilets were always out of toilet paper. They were also dirty. My room on the 6th floor had a nice view, but that was about it... :( It was stuffy, it was dirty, and the people in my room were a disaster. "Inconsiderate" doesn't even begin to cover it. I've never experienced a hostel with such inconsiderate people. There are quite a few homeless people hanging around in front of the hostel, and as a woman traveling alone, it's definitely a dangerous place with a heavy police presence. The proximity to the main train station is great. Generally, you can easily reach most places on foot. It's doable for one night. Two nights, however, were simply too much for me personally...

Food is the most important for me when I travel and I’m disappointed that you don’t serve the meat and noodles one at a time so vegetarian people can choose to eat the noodles without the meat

Not bad place. Good localisation. Comfortable bed. Soap in a bathroom. Space enough for overnight.

Absolute red flag, not a hostel at all costs. Avoid at all costs. Don't be fooled by the convenient location near the train station. The area is simply awful and crime-ridden. You feel completely unsafe right outside the hostel. Ladies, under no circumstances should you choose this hostel! The clientele staying here is just as terrible as the entire atmosphere. What you see online is a lie. The rooms are nothing like the photos: they show the best rooms, but in reality, the conditions are appalling. The lockers are tiny. The bathrooms are smaller than airplane toilets, and roughly speaking, there's only one cramped toilet for the huge number of people on the floor. The value for money is terrible, as everything costs extra. Renting a towel costs a whopping 5 euros – and that's not a deposit, but the full amount, which you don't get back. Luggage storage costs exorbitant amounts, the bar is expensive, and breakfast is simply awful and definitely not worth 7 euros. The biggest disappointment, however, and what completely ruins the experience, is the staff and their behavior. It's the first time I've ever experienced such an unfriendly and rude team (usually there's at least someone decent, but not here). From the very beginning, everyone, even older guests, is addressed informally without any consideration. The staff speaks very poor German, but good English. I find it absolutely incomprehensible how there can be no service in the local language in Germany. They are completely unhelpful to their guests. At the end of my stay, due to an error in their system, I was also charged the late check-out fee twice. I had to stay at this place for six days and only extended my booking because all other options in the city were fully booked. That was the worst experience. Avoid this place at all costs.

A stylish hotel that looks great both inside and out. It has rooms spread over six floors. Check-in was friendly and straightforward. The room was quite warm, but there was a fan and a window that could be opened. Breakfast is available for €7.50 per person. For a one-time fee of €10, you can extend your check-out time from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The room was small but adequate for one to three nights.
