A really good hotel in the city. Very friendly staff. I have a tiny room. It's sufficient for one or two nights. A chair or armchair would be great, but it doesn't fit :-)

An absolutely amazing experience! Incredible place, wonderful people, and outstanding staff. I accidentally left my MacBook charger behind, but the team went above and beyond to help me solve the problem. They even offered me two complimentary coffees. Special thanks to Lasse and Ulf for their kindness and support. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Nothing but great memories and positive emotions!

We stayed at the villa for one night. Much has already been written about it; sustainability is a priority, and the rooms are compact but clean and modern. Our only complaint was the lack of storage space. Apart from the drawer under the bed, there isn't much. The bed was comfortable, and it was pleasantly quiet at night, which was different from what I had expected. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Whether at reception, cleaning staff, or at breakfast, everyone greeted us, provided information, and was grateful for suggestions (they were out of milk for the coffee machine and Nutella). Parking for €18 a day in the parking garage around the corner was convenient, and we did a lot on foot. It's a 20-minute walk to the theater at the wholesale market, and just under 30 minutes to the Elbphilharmonie and the shopping area on Überseeboulevard. Everything is manageable, and you pass by the Speicherstadt (warehouse district) and see a lot. There's a bar on the 12th floor with a beautiful view of Hamburg. By the way, in the elevator, you have to hold your room key against the designated black spot to select your floor. We had to search for it a bit. What I can't recommend is the food downstairs. We had hummus with bread, which was okay, but for €12.50, the chicken with harissa mayo really should have come with a side dish like bread or fries. Two sliced gherkins are simply not enough, and the whole thing on the small saucer didn't quite match the otherwise excellent rest of the meal. The chicken itself, however, tasted fantastic. For that price, though, you can get a really good pizza across the street at the Ei restaurant, or, as a tip, at the bistro in front of the Harry Potter Theater, or something else entirely.

Great location and lovely rooms. Everything was clean, and overall the hotel made a good impression. Breakfast was adequate, with a small to mediocre selection. A positive aspect was that many items were homemade. Unfortunately, the restaurant disappointed us in the evening: the prices were far too high for the small portions, and the menu consisted mostly of vegan dishes. For two people, without an appetizer and with only two small drinks (250 ml each), we paid a total of €52 and were still hungry afterward. The food was also served rather carelessly. Asking for a tip afterward seemed inappropriate given the price.

The rooms are minimally furnished; this is something to be aware of before booking. Breakfast is overpriced at around €20. The selection is limited, the quality is poor, and the scrambled eggs were awful—tasteless and rubbery. Honestly, if a cook can't even prepare a simple scrambled egg, it's time for a change. In short, if you need an overnight stay without breakfast, this is acceptable.
