Ce que disent les critiques
Visitors praise Mutter for its great atmosphere, good drinks at reasonable prices, and friendly staff, with some calling it one of the best bars in Kassel. However, a common complaint is that people smoke inside, which some find unpleasant, and a few reviewers mentioned the air being stuffy.

À propos de ce lieu Mutter - Kassel
Mutter is a bar on Bunsenstraße in Kassel's Nord-Holland district, near the university quarter. It is listed here as an LGBTQ+ venue, but the data gives no hours, website or programme. It has a solid local following (4.4 from over 400 reviews), but how queer the crowd is on a given night is not confirmed.
Nord-Holland is a student-heavy, mixed neighbourhood, and bars here tend to fill late in the week. Before making a special trip, check the bar's social media or ask locally whether there is a queer night. Kassel's scene is small, so most queer nights out happen at a handful of places and parties.

No food. It's all about drinks. Cheap, good, great atmosphere. Little Kassel has something I miss in Cologne.

Beautiful bar, great people, awesome atmosphere, one of the best bars in Kassel, and the price-performance ratio is 100% spot on.
