YMCA Conference Center Kassel

I was here for a conference. I think the location is beautiful. You can be out in nature in no time at all on foot. The staff is very friendly. The food tastes good, but given the price, it's not exactly healthy. I really enjoyed my stay here and the facilities :)

Perfect location for conferences or weekend getaways. Very clean and well-equipped rooms with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast is perfect and absolutely worth the price. Dinner is plentiful with something for everyone. The grounds are beautiful. The conference rooms are very well-equipped and functionally furnished. The service is impeccable and very reliable. The pub is highly recommended for the evening. We would gladly return.

I've stayed at many conference centers, but unfortunately, this one wasn't quite to my liking. The parking situation is limited. However, there's a larger parking lot nearby that's within easy walking distance. When we arrived, despite having booked in advance, we had to wait another 30 minutes for our rooms. The single rooms here were a good size, and the bathroom was also spacious and equipped with two towels. The bed squeaked and creaked with every movement. The building itself was very noisy. There are four conference rooms of varying sizes. The good thing is that everything is located in one building, so you don't necessarily have to go outside. The food was okay. Breakfast and dinner were the same: bread/rolls with some cold cuts. Anyone looking for a wide selection will be disappointed. One evening, we had to get the food from the refrigerator ourselves and set up the buffet ourselves. I don't know why this was the case, but I found it a bit odd. We ended up putting it away ourselves as well. Overall, it was okay.

Beautiful house, centrally located in Germany and very easy to reach.

I spent two days here at a seminar and enjoyed it very much. Oddly enough, Google Maps was giving me strange directions. I highly recommend entering the address "Hugo-Preuß-Straße 40" directly. That should do the trick.
