Amazing place and the number 1 of Munich and Sebastian was amazing!

Great bar with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. We had a very fun evening. The DJ also sang live from time to time, which really livened things up.

I was a regular at Rendezvous for over two years and felt very comfortable there for a long time. That made a situation at the beginning of November all the more difficult, as it ended very badly for me. In a private conversation with the doorman, he made very disrespectful, vulgar, and provocative remarks to me that deeply affected me emotionally. I didn't react well to them – and I still realize that now. What still bothers me, however, is how the situation was handled. Instead of de-escalating the situation, it quickly became physical. I was forced to the ground in front of the bar and handcuffed, my face turned downwards, until the police arrived. I found this disproportionate and very humiliating, especially since there were many other guests present. I would have expected more professionalism and composure in such a moment – ​​especially from someone responsible for security. For me personally, that evening unfortunately destroyed my sense of trust and comfort there and has left a significant lasting psychological burden.

It's a really nice bar with good music. Unfortunately, some of the staff are very unfriendly and not customer-oriented. The service behind the bar is also sometimes very poor and lacks any real service. They could also play different music sometimes instead of always the same songs.

I always enjoy going to parties and meeting people. It's really interesting what all can happen in one evening. But watch out for pickpockets!!! Don't leave your belongings unattended!

I've loved this bar for years because, in my experience, it's the only place where I feel safe as a woman. The doorman is the reason I feel safe here, because he takes everyone seriously who asks him for help and removes gropers or totally aggressive people from the bar. I definitely can't understand the negative reviews about him; I've never seen or experienced him being violent in all these years. Even when he's physically attacked, he handles the situation calmly, professionally, and with a cool head. And honestly, considering how often he's harassed, threatened, and physically attacked by drunk people, I admire his reaction, because I would lose it every time. Every woman can feel safe there, which I find especially valuable these days! The bartenders are a cool, fun bunch who serve really quickly. It is and always will be my second home.

I agree with the previous comments regarding the violent bouncer. Violence is apparently tolerated in this bar, as nothing seems to change despite the numerous complaints. Instead, some of the bar staff even join in the physical altercations. Instead of resolving harmless situations verbally, they prefer to react with violence.
