Beautiful location and very good food.

There are plenty of "furniture store restaurants," often serving schnitzel with fries or meatballs with peas... But the kitchen at the power plant offers culinary delights. I was there for a business event, and afterwards we were invited to dinner. My expectations weren't particularly high, so I was pleasantly surprised. The food was first-class!

Great atmosphere - delicious food and a perfect combination for furniture shopping

We visited Café Kraftwerk Restaurant today on a recommendation – unfortunately, our visit was very disappointing. Upon entering, there was no greeting or friendly "hello." We were shown to our table without a word and then had to wait a long time for our drinks. A particularly shocking incident occurred right at our table: A four-year-old child in our group had a glass break in their mouth while drinking. We immediately informed a waiter, but the reaction was appallingly indifferent. Another employee simply responded with a curt "Oh my God," without asking if the child was injured or if there were shards of glass in their mouth. There were shards of glass in their mouth! We found this completely incomprehensible. Then we had to wait over an hour and fifteen minutes for our breakfast – we had only ordered a fruit salad, three Weisswurst sausages, waffles, and a "weekend getaway" (a type of snack). For such a small amount of food, the wait should really not be so long, especially not with two small children aged three and four. To top it all off, the wrong dish was brought to us in the end. Since we just wanted to eat after the long wait, we didn't say anything more. What was particularly annoying was that many guests who arrived significantly later received their food much sooner. We also raised our concerns when paying, but again, there was hardly any response. Throughout our entire visit, we felt unwelcome. The staff avoided eye contact and only reacted when we actively approached them. The view and the location are truly beautiful, but the service was unfortunately abysmal. We definitely won't be returning.

I had made a reservation for my husband's birthday. Everything went smoothly. There were 17 of us. The ambiance is truly lovely, and the rooftop terrace is a dream, especially in the evening when the weather is nice. It's a bit like being in New York. The food itself was very good, and everyone loved it! However, I have to say that while the service was very friendly, we were simply overlooked, and hardly anyone came to ask about our drinks. We had three different servers. Some of our drinks were forgotten, and we constantly had to chase after them. The worst part, though, was that we waited an hour and a half for our food! Yes, there were other guests, but the restaurant wasn't full. My husband and I own a catering business ourselves, but this kind of treatment is simply unacceptable. We were a pre-booked group and were seated separately (at our request), so it's unacceptable to be overlooked, have our drinks forgotten, and have to wait so long for our food. Furthermore, we didn't have that many different dishes. Most of them were served at least three times to our group. This unfortunately detracted from the evening, even though everything else was fantastic! ... I would gladly give 4-5 stars, but due to the service and the waiting time, I unfortunately have to deduct 2. And I want to emphasize that the service was truly very polite and friendly!

Very attentive service, delicious food, but unfortunately, the espresso I've ever had was the smallest I've ever tasted. Even at "only" €2.60, it was unacceptable!

We went for breakfast yesterday for Mother's Day and it was really great. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and attentive despite the restaurant being full. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back!
