Chambres La Piazzetta

The location is excellent, the cleanliness is good... The B&B offers rooms with private bathrooms and apartments... good options! But in my opinion, the amenities are limited and, above all, they're not very hospitable. If you stay in an apartment, breakfast isn't included, not even if you pay a premium. You have to make do, and that doesn't do the host any credit. They need to be more hospitable and less strict.

Even though it's a B&B, La Piazzetta Rooms had very spacious rooms, equipped with everything you could possibly need (including Wi-Fi). The beds were comfortable, and the service was excellent. Everything was spotless, free of dust, and the staff was always available to answer any questions and very helpful. The location was also very convenient, being just steps away from a very busy square (Piazza de Ferrari) and plenty of public transportation, including a metro station (Piazza de Ferrari). The location also boasted a wide variety of restaurants and bars, and the buildings were breathtaking, including the fountain.

We had a wonderful time at this super central, welcoming, and comfortable B&B. The breakfast was superb! The building overlooks the square of the Church of San Matteo, with its beautiful Ligurian-style façade and a lovely cloister that can be visited free of charge (pictured).

Elena, the owner, was incredibly kind from the first moment. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and well-appointed. The bathroom was large and clean. The breakfast was plentiful and with quality products. The location was super central. Highly recommended.

I definitely recommend it for its central location, which allows you to reach all the most famous sights on foot. The metro stop is just a 3-minute walk from the station. Extremely clean, comfortable and quiet rooms, and a generous breakfast. The only small drawback: breakfast starts at 8:30, which could be a bit earlier for those, like me, who are only staying in the city for a few days and want to explore Genoa as much as possible.

A truly delightful experience with Elena, the perfect host, with a plentiful, high-quality breakfast, many of which are homemade. The rooms are beautiful and each different, with a bathroom right across the room. They are cleaned every day (a rare occurrence). Right in the city center.

The location is fantastic, right on Piazza San Matteo. The room is very nice and spacious by Italian standards. Wi-Fi is included, but unfortunately there's no reception; they can only be reached by phone and only in English.

Our family of 15 had a fantastic experience. Aside from the excellent location, which is a huge advantage, and the cleanliness of the facilities, we were particularly impressed by the warm and welcoming service from Helena, the owner, who went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. She prepares the breakfasts herself with high-quality products, and the portions are generous and varied, so we highly recommend it because you'll leave with wonderful memories. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The mattresses are high-quality for a good night's sleep. The service is excellent. Located near Plaza Ferrari and the Cathedral.

I spent one night in this B&B, nothing to complain about

The B&B is very centrally located in the old town. Both the metro and bus stops are 150 meters away. Parking is a 10-minute walk. The rooms are quite spacious and very clean. They are equipped with a TV and air conditioning. The bathrooms are outside the rooms, but each guest has their own private bathroom. Breakfast is very varied and is served by the owner herself. The staff are very friendly and meticulous about cleanliness.
