One of the most beautiful beaches in Holland. Incredibly long, super wide, and with the best sand. You can walk for miles, there's always plenty of space, one great beach club after another, and you always get a front-row seat to stunning sunsets. A short trip here is perfect.

A very quiet place—the opposite of Sicilian beaches; if you want to reflect, it’s the right place.

A lovely place for a stroll along the beach. Zandvoort itself, despite its somewhat dated appearance, is a charming town with a beautiful boulevard.

Zandvoort Beach is a large and spacious beach with plenty of room to walk, relax, and spend time by the sea. There are also several supermarkets and shops nearby, which makes the area quite convenient for visitors. However, our experience was unfortunately not very enjoyable. The water was quite sandy, and the tide was a much bigger issue than we expected. We were not aware that the water level could rise so quickly, and when we returned to our towels and belongings, everything was already surrounded by water. We had to move our things farther away from the sea twice, so I would strongly recommend paying close attention to the tide and leaving your belongings much farther back than you think is necessary. There were also many jellyfish in the water during our visit. One of them stung my leg, and afterward my little toe became numb for a while, which made the rest of the visit uncomfortable and stressful. Of course, this may depend on the season and weather conditions, but it is still something worth being aware of. One very positive detail was the free sunscreen stations along the walk from the train station to the beach. We had forgotten to bring sunscreen, so this was extremely helpful and a very thoughtful service. Overall, I can understand why local residents enjoy this beach, especially because it is wide, easily accessible, and well connected. However, because of the tide and the jellyfish, we personally could not enjoy our visit very much. I am not sure whether I would return, but it may still be a pleasant place for others if conditions are better.
