Hôtel Anco

The hotel cancelled our reservation the night before our arrival, blaming Booking.com even though everything had been confirmed and paid for four months in advance. Luckily, Booking.com found us a solution because the hotel did absolutely nothing to help us. Avoid at all costs!

Great stay at Anco! Walking distance from everything in the red light distance and other beautiful neighborhoods, clean and quiet accommodations, the breakfast was good and above all the manager was kind and hospitable (made me 3 cups of mint tea every morning). Thanks for a lovely stay!

Absolutely loved our stay at ANCO, Don Carlos at the reception was the highlight, loved his humor. Right on a canal, a few minutes from the main train station, great breakfast and coffee, will be back!

The hotel is perfectly located, right in the center, close to the Red Light District, restaurants, bars, everything! The decor is tasteful. The room was spacious and clean, with fresh towels every day. The shared shower was also spacious and clean. Breakfast had everything you could want: cold cuts, various breads, butter, jam, fruit, yogurt, fruit juice, hot toast... mmm, what a treat! Then there's the welcome: from the moment you enter, you're in a world of your own: warmth, kindness, smiles, and jokes. Don Carlos and Joseph are incredibly kind! Always a kind word, attentive to every detail... What a wonderful experience! I highly recommend this establishment, which made my stay truly memorable.

The hotel is located in the very center, in an ideal position and distance from all tourist attractions. I would especially like to praise the staff who are very friendly and ready to help you at any time. The rooms are spacious enough, the bed is comfortable, and the breakfast is good and varied. We will come back again.

It was a gamble but a well payed off. Cons: - bathroom outside the room - walls are paper thin Pros: - center location - price / quality ratio - the guys that work there that remind me of my dad hanging out and having a great time (while giving excellent service) Overall it’s a great value for money, time and experience 😊❤️
