Last Saturday, we had an incredibly delicious and surprisingly affordable meal. Top service and everything is homemade. You can really taste it.

A surprise find for us on our last evening in Amsterdam. We loved the experience of a spoken menu and it was articulated so clearly in English. The signature beef stroganoff with goat's cheese and strawberry sauce is certainly a must try. We also ordered the salmon which was good, and the appetiser of Amsterdam sausage. It was splendid to taste homely food and personalised interactions with the wait staff, made possible by the fact it is a family run business for almost 30 years now. If you have some time, you must visit!

Omg this was an amazing meal out. We had beef with strawberry sauce and a gorgeous spiced chicken. We started with mussels All the food was absolutely delicious. The meat was so tender, the chicken beautifully cooked fell off the bone delightfully. Very moist Every flavour was balanced deliciously. The chicken had a beautiful balance of spices sauce and cucumber / spring onion The steak was beautifully moist and perfectly cooked with a goat cheese slice and the strawberry sauce coated it deliciously The mussels we shared as a sauce were delicious but in thunderingly umami mushroom chilli and spring onion. Sauce. Powerful sauce but didn’t overwhelm the mussel taste The staff were lovely and attentive but kept their distance appropriately. They knew the menu well and the wine list with awesome detail I will be back here again for sure!!

The food is good, but the service is awful. You have to keep reminding them of your order. When it finally arrives, there's not a word of apology. The same goes for the bill. In short, they're living off their reputation and passing tourists.
