A not-so-pretentious hotel, similar to an IBIS hotel, or apartment complex.

The three of us – my two sisters and I – traveled to Skopje for business. This hotel was booked for us by our employer, so unfortunately we had no say in the selection. We encountered problems right from the start: the elevator wasn't working, so we had to carry our suitcases up two flights of stairs, as the reception is on the second floor. At reception, the hotel manager explained that there was one room on the second floor and two rooms on the sixth floor. We split up accordingly. The manager escorted us to our rooms. As soon as we entered, we noticed that the rooms – and indeed the entire hotel – smelled extremely strongly of perfume. The manager told us we could adjust the air conditioning to our liking. Since the room was very warm and stuffy, and almost unbearable due to the strong perfume smell, we set the air conditioning to cooling and 19 degrees Celsius. It's worth mentioning that the room was in a corner and the window couldn't be tilted – it only opened fully, which theoretically made it very easy to get into the room from the neighboring one. When we returned to the room later, our suitcase and the floor were wet. When we contacted the manager about this, he became very annoyed and suddenly said that we weren't even allowed to adjust the air conditioning. That same evening, four very drunk, tall, and broad men from Romania were wandering around in the hallway. My sister and I then went to my room. The rooms are opened with a code – however, this code is hardly secure, as the first four digits are the same for everyone, followed only by the room number (e.g., 10#). Only about two minutes after we were in the room, one of the men used this code to open our door and simply walked in. Luckily, nothing happened, but there were three of us women staying alone in this hotel – two of us on the 6th floor – with no security, no staffed reception, and no supervision whatsoever. I immediately contacted the manager and explained the situation. His only response was that they were "regular guests" and that he would send security. Surprise: there is no security at this hotel – and no one came. The men were simply sent a text message, and the manager later wrote to us that they were going to bed. Since the room door couldn't be locked from the inside, we felt very unsafe for the entire four days we spent at this hotel. When I reported the incident to my team leader, the hotel told him that the room codes had been changed and that a small gift from the hotel and the men would be left in the room as an apology. That evening, as we were heading back to the hotel, I texted the manager to ask about the codes. He replied that the codes would remain the same and would only be changed after check-out. When we returned to the room, there was no apology or gift to be found. In short: Our room wasn't cleaned once during the entire four days. The bottom line: Our room wasn't cleaned even once during our four-day stay. ... Breakfast wasn't served in the hotel, but in a restaurant about a three-minute walk away. The hotel's stairwell was also only partially lit—some floors were completely dark, which made the situation even more uncomfortable and, frankly, a bit creepy. All in all, we unfortunately felt very uneasy and unsafe in this hotel. Especially as three women traveling alone, safety should be a top priority—that was definitely not the case here.

We booked a room, but when we asked for parking, which was listed as included, they told us it wasn't. When we arrived, we couldn't drive up to unload our luggage. We walked through a poorly lit area and found a dirty entrance with a sign saying they were on the second floor, but there was nobody there. When we contacted them by phone, they were rude (calling us liars), and we had to find another hotel. It's a bad hostel run by a terrible person. I don't understand how it's listed on any accommodation booking site.

Even though we paid for the room, we left. It's nothing like what they advertise. It's a run-down second-floor room. Plus, the manager was arrogant. Obviously, I wouldn't recommend it. I don't understand why I'm still on Booking.com.

We didn't even stay there, as there was no one at the front desk when we arrived and the place gave us a bad feeling. I'm including real photos, not the ones they post on Booking.com. I filed a complaint with Booking.com and let them know, and they replied in a threatening tone. Don't go.

The hotel is ideally located in the heart of everything; you can reach anywhere on foot in a maximum of 13-15 minutes. Everything is spotlessly clean; the beds, sheets, and pillows are pristine white and smell wonderful. Tea and coffee are provided in the room, but guests can also get complimentary drinks from the kitchen throughout the day. The room is spacious and airy. The staff are friendly and very attentive. On the third day of our stay, my wife fell ill in the early morning, and the hotel manager accompanied us to the hospital, paid for our taxi fare out of his own pocket, and absolutely refused to reimburse us when we offered. He stayed with us at the hospital for about 1-1.5 hours, and even after leaving, continued to care for us and my health. The hotel owner, manager, and all the other staff are very attentive and friendly. It's a place you can stay with complete peace of mind and trust.

A clean and nice hotel in the heart of the city, within walking distance of most attractions. You will be satisfied. They speak Turkish. I recommend it.

It's a very good hotel. The location is central and the staff are very helpful. A special thank you to Can for his help with everything. I recommend it to everyone; I will definitely stay here again if I come to Skopje.

Probably one of the best options when it comes to choose a value for money accommodation in Skopje. The executives in charge was extremely kind and helpful. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy. Very central location. Our room had a perfect view of the Millenial Cross. Finally, special thanks to Djan who speaks perfect Turkish.
