Beautiful clean beach, wooden decked steps down, not good for people with mobility problems, but benches on the way. Lovely views and 3 beach bars with toilets. Caves and an arch way make it good for photos.

An amazing beach walk—when the tide is out, you can explore stunning cliffs and rock formations. The sand is lovely, the area is clean and tidy, and there are plenty of places to eat just off the beach.

Praia Da Oura is one of the most impressive beaches along the coastline of Albufeira, the main beach is beautiful with pristine golden sands ,there's some nice beach bars and restaurants overlooking the beach ,waves here are awesome, when we visited in October the waves and swells were high ,looked so cool, parts of this beach are overlooked by some great little cliffs ,very rugged ,lovely walking along these cliffs and dunes but not for the faint hearted but views of the beach are worth the effort, its a beach most definitely well worth checking out if you're planning a holiday to Albufeira.

The region of the Algarve is wonderful, the long golden beaches, caves, stacks and the beautiful climate really amazed me

A Beach Day That Delivered More Than Just Sand! Let’s be honest—a beach is a beach. But what made this one stand out was the watersports centre, the waiter service from a nearby bar, and yes... Wi-Fi. Trust me, when you’re travelling with daughters and their social media lives, Wi-Fi is a lifesaver! We paid €19 for two sunbeds and an umbrella, which was reasonable. The sand was soft, and there were wooden walkways to make getting around easy. The waiter service was a brilliant touch—cocktails and snacks delivered right to your lounger. There was also a lifeguard on duty, which was reassuring, especially with the Atlantic waves rolling in. On our sunny September day, the swells were impressive—some waves reached over 15 feet, giving serious California beach vibes. Our group of 8 (ages ranging from mid-20s to a proud 57-year-old) loved it, and so did the other beachgoers. The watersports centre nearby was buzzing with activity. Booking was done in time slots, and it was well-organized. We split into two groups: Parasailing (5 people) – €40 each Inflatable ride (5 people) – €20 each Not at same time of course some of the group didn't have the bravery LOL Both were fantastic experiences—safe, thrilling, and well worth the money. The centre offered a wide range of activities including SUPs, pedalos, jet skis, and more. Everything was reasonably priced, and honestly, this was the cheapest beach activity spot I’ve come across in Europe. With the waves crashing in, I’d recommend grabbing a boogie board for some extra fun. Whether you’re after adrenaline or just a chilled beach day with cocktails and sea views, this place ticks all the boxes. All in all, a brilliant day out. Everyone in our group had a blast,. Highly recommended for families, groups, or anyone looking for a beach day with a bit of everything!

I enjoyed Praia da Oura Leste beach; like Praia de Falésia beach there was no fish to see when we put our snorkelling gear on, disappointed in that. Some nice coves, the further you go the less chance you have of being closed in on all sides by other people. There are sea front bars/restaurants with a few shops that are worth a visit. To the right at the beach end is a cove tunnel you can walk through which was fun to do, be careful though as one chap was having a photo on a rock and he didn’t realise how big the dip was getting down and nearly face-planted into the craggy rock face. There are also little caves at the far left too.

On the left is a nice little bay without sunbeds and umbrellas. On the right is a larger beach where sunbeds including umbrellas are also offered. With us the price was 19€/day. Unfortunately, there is not a single shower on the entire beach that you do not have to pay for. When you're traveling with small children or a baby, it's disastrously impractical. If you already rent loungers, it would at least be nice that you can take a shower...

The beach and rocks are still breathtaking. Am about 42 years ago (yes yes it was a long time ago) but as beautiful as Praia da Oura was, there is nothing left of it It's like VEGAS.

Very soft sand , wide beach so easy to find a spot, we like to walk down to the left side of the beach and it is quiet. Some cafe’s and restaurants nearby for lunch. Shallow clear sea for kids to play in
