Canto de Luz

What a beautiful boutique hotel! We stayed for three nights: the bed was comfortable, the room was immaculate (bonus points for the heated towel rack!), and the staff were amazing. Their restaurant recommendations were spot on, and it was walking distance to a lot of local attractions. Highly recommended!

Canto de Luz is an amazing find. The hotel itself is a beautiful oasis, and the rooms comfortable, clean and just exactly what we would have designed for our stay. The breakfast that is provided was excellent, and the staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We took each one of their suggestions and had an amazing time in Porto. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer!

Staying at Canto de Luz was such a lovely experience. We were greeted warmly after a red eye flight and offered some coffees while we waited to check in. We were able to get into our room early, giving us the opportunity to unwind after travel. Everyone working at the hotel was welcoming and helpful, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The room we stayed in (City 2) was incredibly spacious with floor to ceiling windows opening onto a Juliet balcony. The included breakfast was a cherry on top of everything and we were even given a to-go breakfast on days where we had early tours or buses to catch. I would gladly stay here again.

We stayed for four nights in this small but lovely hotel with a spacious room and bathroom. The team was very friendly and helpful; we received lots of information about our stay via email right after booking. Check-in was done online, and the access code for the doors was sent immediately. The team was always available and offered many helpful tips, such as recommendations for nearby restaurants. Best regards to the entire team.

An amazing choice of top quality suites in this beautifully-designed Boutique Hotel, where a choice of healthy breakfasts is served in the glassed in dining area by the open kitchen. My sister, a friend and I stayed in two of the adjoining suites called "Urban Retreat 1", which could easily accommodate 2 families (each suite fits 2 adult + 2 children). The reception and kitchen staff provided us with answers to all of our many questions and communication was wonderful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend that you stay here and book direct at espaisroca.com. We hope to visit some of Espais Roca's other properties one day. We had a pleasant stay for 4 nights. The room was thoughtfully equipped (e.g., things to cook your own meals if you like). Bed was more comfortable than I expected so that was a plus, as we slept a lot. I were ear plugs to sleep when traveling so I had no issues. But just as an FYI: if you get the city retreat on the ground floor, you may find that noise carries from both outside the street-level windows as well as from the dining area of the hotel, where other guests gather/chat etc. Again, I didn’t hear anything anyway while I slept. Bo complaints just an FYI. The staff were pleasant, accessible, and eager to accommodate us. Great location as well, plenty to see or do but not overwhelmed by crowds. Nice time!

Port tasting paired with mushroom chocolate and cheese. Highly recommended.

Booked the wine tasting activity here and it was a lovely experience. Rita was a great guide. Bonus point for getting to enjoy some cheese and tapas.

The accommodation is spectacular, the room is super spacious, the breakfast is spectacular, the staff are very friendly and attentive, the bed is super comfortable, the bathroom towels feel like you're drying yourself with a blanket - in short, everything is great, we will definitely be back.
