Hôtel Falkensteiner Bratislava

Centrally located on the main road into Bratislava. A major advantage is the quick access to the Old Town and the castle. The UFO (a popular tourist attraction) is also reachable in 12 minutes. In June 2026, there was construction work in front of and next to the hotel, but this wasn't particularly noticeable as we were out and about during the day.

We have stayed here twice now and honestly it’s the best place to stay. The staff especially reception are amazing. So polite, friendly and genuinely care. Breakfast staff lovely too. Cannot fault this hotel. The location is perfect so quite but 5/10 minute walk in town. Book now as you will not be disappointed.

Loud! Even before 7 a.m., you're disturbed by constant footsteps, but don't worry, by 8 a.m. it's replaced by: There's a construction site right outside, and we were given a room within easy earshot. Unfortunately, there was no private shower, only a bathtub. The garage was full when we arrived, so we had to find parking outside. The TV was very small with a poor picture. Otherwise, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The location is very central, and everything is within easy reach.

A very good and reasonably priced hotel just a stone's throw from Bratislava's old town and within easy walking distance of the castle. The room was really clean and the breakfast was good. There was a SPA upstairs, which opened at three. In practice, this was a Finnish sauna and a Turkish sauna. No jacuzzi or swimming pool. There was a balcony in connection with the spa, where you could cool off.

We received an exceptionally warm and wonderful welcome from Ms. Linda at the reception, whose kindness and professionalism immediately confirmed that we had made the right choice in choosing this hotel. Our room was beautiful, spotless, and offered a stunning view of the Old Town. A special highlight of our stay was spending time on the rooftop terrace, enjoying coffee and fresh juice during the golden hour while taking in the breathtaking views of the castle and the historic city center. The service at the bar was excellent, and the staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly throughout our stay. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we truly enjoyed every moment. A hotel with a great location near the center of Bratislava. They have managed the conference and restaurant services to the highest standard. Despite the street noise outside (currently also construction in the neighboring property), the hotel is quiet. The service was professional and used the right answers with a smile. What is the cake like … “all our cakes are good”.
