TERENSKE VAJE / Napovedi koncev –

V sklopu obrazstavnega programa razstave Napovedi koncev pripravljamo tematsko projekcijo kratkih filmov.
V svetu ždijo želje, strahovi in slutnje o tem, kar še prihaja. Nekatere napovedi so se v času, ko smo bili pozorni na nekaj drugega, uresničile, postale vsakdanje in izgubile svoj grozeči naboj. Spet druge nas delajo tesnobne že veliko dlje, kot smo si morda predstavljali. Nabor filmov pod naslovom Prerokbe z ekrana predstavlja različne odzive na končnost narave in našega okolja, družbe ter sveta na sploh, pa naj gre za nepremično in tiho čakanje, eksistencialno detektivsko delo ali beg v nebo. Nekatere prerokbe lahko iz trenutne točke v času potrdimo kot take, za druge pa je še nekaj časa, da se izkažejo kot prazne ali take, ki jih je mogoče preprečiti.

Prophecies From the Screen

As part of the accompanying programme for the exhibition Predictions of the End, we’re hosting a thematic screening of short films.
In our world linger desires, fears, and presentiments of what is yet to come. Some predictions have already come true while our attention was turned elsewhere, turning into everyday reality and losing their menacing charge. Others have been provoking anxiety in us for much longer than we might have imagined. Under the title Prophecies from the Screen, this selection of films showcases various responses to the finitude of nature and our environment, society, and the world at large – whether through motionless and silent waiting, existential detective work, or an escape into the sky. Looking back from our current point in time, we can confirm certain prophecies as such; for others, time will tell if they prove hollow or remain entirely preventable.
