Café MAUU Bar

Food ok...ish. Staff awful, had our food/drinks launched at us. They appear totally disinterested or maybe they don't like brits(they like our money though), either way I won't be setting foot in there again. First time on this holiday that I haven't left a tip. Got to say though very unusual for gran canaria, service is usually very good.

I was there with 2 friends for lunch. For was very nice, we liked everything (grilled tuna, Spanish omelette and squid with Canary potatoes). Everything was fresh, my squid was not oily. Staff was great. Friendly, polite but not in your face like in so many other places! We sat in a shade, it was quiet so we could have a conversation. I don't know what are the bad reviews about, we would definitely recommend it.

Went here for lunch today, was met by a kind man that served us, we just had a toastie and a drink which was nice and cheap. Toastie was good and crispy, only thing is that the atmosphere is a little boring. but it is nice to sit in and comfortable. Didn’t like how the sauce came in reusable bottles that was the only thing!

Just popped in for drinks, drinks are ok but atmosphere was abit rubbish unless you like watching the swimming while you drink...

A place inside a shopping mall in Puerto Rico. We ordered two very good sandwiches. The service was friendly and efficient.

Great restaurant for breakfast, with a wide selection of breakfast dishes. Lovely terrace. Friendly service. Inexpensive.

Pizza was nice just know for next time capers are horrible 🤣 whiskey and coke was bloody strong. The missis had grilled chicken with a very strong cocktail 👍 the lad has 2 large hotdog sausages and cucumber and orange juice as he's a fussy bleeder. I had his chips. 41 euro. Seems to be around this price most places.

All the food came from cans. They don't use any fresh ingredients. Nice service, but bad food. Better to go to Mc Donalds across the street….

Called in last night for a pizza. Frozen dough, dry crust and base, toppings out of a tin, tasteless. Staff more interested in watching football than serving. Never again.
