Restaurant Maricel

They don't meet the basic hygiene standards that a restaurant should have. It may look very nice aesthetically and the food may be okay, but if you see the inside of the kitchen you'll want to run out.

We booked a table with a gift box three weeks in advance, and upon arrival, we were seated on the terrace in the sun at a table with a long tablecloth that didn't cover it (the other tables were perfectly set with white tablecloths). We found their service very uncomfortable and unpleasant. I will not return, not even with a gift box or if I pay extra. I called the company to tell them that if they don't want to be partners with this service, they should cancel their membership.

Exquisite food and very good service

The service tries to be friendly, but they pressure you to place your orders. The dining experience was disappointing considering the price.

There was a large group of us, 23 in total and Carlos and his team looked after us perfectly and created a lovely ambience for the beginning of our trip together. The food was exceptional and all the staff were super helpful and friendly. Do try Maricel.

We went with a Wonderbox gift card. They offer a set menu with two starters, two main courses, water, and dessert. Or you can order à la carte and pay the difference. We ordered the set menu plus some steamed mussels. Everything was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly, especially Carles and the young woman who greeted us at the entrance. Highly recommended.
