Restaurant Maricel, on Sitges' Passeig de Ribera, serves up upscale Catalan food in one of Spain's friendliest beach towns.
The cooking here updates traditional regional dishes—this isn't a place for tapas, but for set menus and a focus on presentation. The staff will talk you through each plate, which helps if you're trying to get a handle on the local flavors.
Sitges has been a favorite with LGBTQ+ travelers for decades, drawing people with its social life and Mediterranean beaches. Places like Maricel work well for a dressier night out: an anniversary, a special occasion, or just a chance to eat well without the party getting in the way. In summer, the terrace is the spot, with sea views and a quieter vibe.
You come here for polished service and good food, not a wild night. If you want a sophisticated dinner in Sitges, this is it. Find out more or book a table at maricel.es.

Fabulous!!! Carlos was magnificent and the waiters were spectacular! ❤️
Carlos served us and the service was exceptional; the price-quality ratio and the service were fantastic. Compared to other restaurants in the area, this is one of the few that's truly worth visiting.
Excellent value for money: service, quality, and craftsmanship of a great product. Highly recommended.
As always, impeccable quality and service. Goodbye.
Excellent restaurant, the food is delicious. The creamy sea urchin rice was amazing, and the octopus with pistachio parmentier was also fantastic. The best rice I've ever had. The service was incredible; they made sure you had everything you needed at all times.
Excellent in every way
