What's fabulous about this place is the resident 'Indian Cafe Racer' restaurant in the back room. Really interesting Indian food unlike any other Indian I know. Nice bar at the front, Indian restaurant at the back & lovely rooms and staff. Nothing not to like. 🙂

The bar / pub is absolutely overrun with fruit flies, they are even in the loos. My partner and I went here for a nice meal, and it was distracting how many flies there were. As a former bartender, I know how easy it is to keep on top of this problem so it is inexcusable. Also, it was £6 for a pint of Cobra, and there were no cask ales to be had.

Excellent B&B 2nd floor of the Pub. Excellent soundproof, location, spacious room, nice continental breakfast. Sink and bathtub drainage very slow, other than this everything else is lovely

Walked in to use the toilet and grab a pint. Immediately had a lady practically shout at me "can I help! " as if I wasn't meant to be in there. Passed this pub for years driving and noticed it had only recently been done up in the last few years. Was quite excited to check it out. I explained why I was there, but then changed my mind and proceeded to leave as I found this extremely rude and embarrassing in front of other people. I'm also high functioning autistic so definitely won't be going back. Very rude member of staff I had stepped into the premesis for about 10 seconds. Decided to go to the dragons inn. Which is close by and don't judge you for needing the toilet. Will never recommend to anyone or return I can see when I'm not welcome. Very bad customer service. If a customer came in to your shop would you ask them what they are doing there straight away? No. That would be rude and confrontational. Hope the owners see this. Kind regards,

Brilliant place to stay for going to gigs at the 02 academy would definitely stay again

Hotel is very basic - poor smells, far too many CCTV cameras, and a dismal "continental" breakfast offering which I skipped entirely.

The room was clean, the bathroom too. There was a hook or a shelf for most things but you may struggle with larger luggage. The room was extremely hot, without radiators switched on, and I resorted to opening the window which wasn’t ideal for safety of sound. The bed was comfortable enough and the towels were decent. Personally, I’d prefer to not have a kettle and instead invest more in a decent door lock. Note the doors do not lock themselves, so I did sit there for over an hour with my door unlocked without realising. Cheap, but not quiet or cool.

Really nice everything

We had a lovely, affordable stay here when going to a local gig in the O2 across the road, perfect for those attending music events in the area. The hotel room was small but cozy but had all the amenities we needed for a short stay. Be aware that can be quite a bit of noise through the corridors especially as people get in from the pubs/gigs, but didn't spoil our stay. There was a nice continental breakfast spread put out in the morning which was perfect to have a coffee to get the day started. We had an excellent meal at the Indian restaurant downstairs (Cafe Racer) which is within the premises but needs to be booked separately (will leave a separate review for them!) P.S. A huge shout-out to Horia who went well above and beyond to help return an item of lost property that I left in the room. You were an absolute life-saver!

Overall, I was disappointed, unfortunately! Even upon arrival, the exterior is quite uninviting; the storefront is rather old and not very clean, but that's a minor detail. The corridors leading to the rooms have really dirty carpets, not welcoming at all. However, we received a very warm welcome, and the (family) room was quite large and comfortable, apart from the noise, as it was located above the pub and therefore had loud music quite late into the night. But the real problem arose this morning: breakfast was included in the reservation between 7:30 and 9:30, but the manager never opened the door... we were all downstairs waiting in vain. We had to pay an extra 35 euros to eat at the airport, which is unacceptable. We won't be returning.
