Fine hotel for visiting Brighton. A bit noisy though. Old wooden floors.

Amazing hotel in a brilliant location. Stayed there when my dad was in hospital. Owners were incredibly kind and flexible. It's clean, comfortable and close to all major bus routes. Highly recommend.

I stayed in Room 8 - very clean. Spacious room. Quiet place - was able to sleep well. Great view of the sea from the room. The place is easy to find. Great location.

Absolutely outstanding little gem! Location is good as it's just away from the noisy part of the seafront, but not so far that it's a long walk. The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed, including a little sweet treat each. The little terrace on the front was a nice spot to sit and enjoy the sunshine.

This is not a hotel. It's a guest house at best. It's unstaffed with dubious locks entered via a code. The room was clean although the windows were dirty. The water pressure was so low that we couldn't shower. The stairs are steep and narrow. Decor is good but it's covering over previous/existing maintenance issues. This is an old house with subsequent maintenance issues. My complaint was dealt with efficiently but the £17 goodwill gesture for not being able to shower was kind enough but didn't reflect value for money for the experience. And the "sea view"? Bring your binoculars.... Avoid.

This was such a handy location and wonderful place to stay. The courtyard catches the sun, such a lovely spot. Easy check in and room access.

Stayed in room 11 which was a superb suite. Perfect location, could not fault anything.

Nice place, very clean, close to the beach and main attractions, I would stay there again. Solo traveller.

Room 2 was lovely and fresh although small with limited storage. Build a smart window seat either side of radiator.You could sit your bags on them Pump noises during the night??

Perfect location, very easy access via keypad entry and very well priced too. Will definitely stay here again

Perfect place to stay

This spot was perfect for what I needed. It’s basic, functional and very close to the Royal Sussex hospital which is why I chose it. I was in room 5 which provided a glimpse of the sea. Be aware that the stairs to the room are very narrow and navigating them with a heavy suitcase was a bit dodgy! The room was clean and had all the amenities I needed including a hairdryer. The tea and coffee station was very welcome. The bathroom was clean and bright but the water pressure was lacking. Overall I was pleased my stay, this was a last minute booking, communication was adequate and I would stay again.

Special place. Perfect location. Very comfortable accommodation with every thing you could need. Would be lovely spot in the summer with several outdoor spaces. Owner could not have been more helpful even though was xmas. Will definately be back.
