Warner Hotels - Studley Castle

Paid a visit for afternoon tea.

One of the best afternoon tea experience we ever had. We were asked about our choices for food such as vegetarian etc. Freshly made stuff was served too. Staff was very friendly and helpful 🙂. Very peaceful and calming environment. The castle was fabulous especially the part where tea was served. Highly recommended for afternoon tea.

Had to change rooms to a Studley room and staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. Had a bit of an upset with hubby being taken ill and Gary and his team were absolutely brilliant. Looking forward to going again and hopefully completing our stay this time! Everyone absolutely brilliant!

We went for the 80s weekend. Great entertainment on all 3 nights. The staff in the restaurant were brilliant, very friendly and attentive. The menu was varied, and the food was very good. The room was amazing, clean, and comfortable. Also important, as the weather was extremely hot, the room and restaurant had air-conditioning. Although we didn't take part in any of the activities. as we went out every day, there was lots to occupy the guests, including a lovely spa and swimming pool. I would definitely recommend it, and we aim to return in the not too distant future.

My parents recently stayed here and were disappointed with their experience. During their stay, information about activities and events was only accessible through digital devices. There was very little information displayed around the hotel or in the room itself, making it difficult to know what was happening during their stay. They found this lack of accessible information frustrating. At meal times, guests were expected to collect their own tea and coffee, with no table service available. They also felt that the food selection was quite limited. The evening entertainment finished at 10:30pm, after which guests were moved to another area. However, they would like to mention that Jack, the singer on their final night, was fantastic and a real highlight of the stay. Overall, they felt the experience was disappointing. Considering the price paid, they did not feel it represented good value for money, particularly as additional activities, drinks and afternoon tea all came at extra cost. They believe more accessible information should be available to all guests, along with a wider range of daytime activities and entertainment that continues later into the evening. They have stayed at several other Warner Hotels in the past and have enjoyed those experiences, but unfortunately they would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

Just enjoyed a lovely break at Studley Castle for birthday celebrations. Disco Inferno were amazing guest act - had the best night! Special mention to our waitress, Finley - she was friendly, attentive - nothing was too much trouble.
