Hôtel Manchester Airport Stanley by Belvilla

We entered the room expecting to have a pleasant stay, but were immediately disappointed by its condition. Within the first few steps, it was obvious that the carpet was extremely dirty, with dust all over the room. The area near the TV was muddy, and one of the drawers contained remnants of pan masala. As we looked around, we noticed that the mirror was cracked, and there were large holes in the walls, giving the impression that the room had been vandalised. The curtains were hanging off the railings, appeared very dirty, and released large amounts of dust whenever they were moved. It was clear that the room had not been properly maintained for some time. Despite these issues, we decided to overlook them and make ourselves a cup of tea. However, the kettle was dirty and had to be washed before use. After boiling water, we realised there was only one teabag provided, with no spoon or stirrer available. When we approached reception to request these basic items, the receptionist responded in an unprofessional manner, saying, “It’s not my responsibility. I’m just an employee. Why should I say sorry?” Throughout our stay, I had to visit reception three separate times to request essential items and assistance. The overall condition of the room, combined with the poor customer service, made for a very disappointing experience.

They haven't a clue how to run a hotel i stayed one night went and had a operation next day returned a few days later gave me same room wasn't cleaned had to wait 2 hours after coming from hospital stay 3 nights rebook it for 3 more they did not clean again said it would be done by 2 I returned at 3 the room still wasn't cleaned told me dont give them lip they will do it later wanted me to leave my room in the evening to clean it called customer care said it would be resolved in 24 to 48 hours there's been rubbish left in the hall for 2 days only got that today its the worst hotel I've ever stayed at keep away its a joke

This place is the best value for money in the whole area.

Slightly average hotel, but food was very nice and good value for a hotel. Proximity to air port is 5 mins so overall very good.

For the price, this is what you get. Butttt a dustbin in room is a BASIC NEED. There was no bin😀 There were hair in bathtub drain. Carpet was yuck. Lift was like tinyyyy and horrible. Wasnot working at one point. Room were hot. Didnot have any fan. Bodywash dispenser wasnot working. Thankfully i had packed mine.

The lady on reception was very helpful, bed was very good, I did not now till I left they did breakfast and was not expensive, cost of room not expensive, and the room and bed was clean , would use again.

Its a shame they can't receive 0 stars as 1 is too many. 10 minutes after booking via booking.com the hotel called me to say there had been a mistake and the hotel was full and told to find another hotel. When I asked about a refund, they informed Me it would be returned. 2 weeks later, multiple phone calls and messages. I have still not received my money. They make all sorts of excuses and many contradictions. There customer service is horrendous. And thieving behaviour is shocking. Avoid at all costs. They have even ignored all correspondence from booking.com. dont waste your time or money and book somewhere else. Just to update I contacted the email provided in the hotels response. It says reply will be issued in 48 hours. Its four days later and still nothing.

Due to stay here in the coming weeks, after reading the reviews I’m pretty scared to say the least, will update the review once stayed. Can confirm the phone number is routed overseas and getting the reception number is hard work, finally got it and they just do not answer 😬😬😬 🤞

The worst experience ever. Not recommended if you asthmatic. Cigarette smoke can be smelt throughout the hotel. Not hot water at 04:00. No one available to report to

Very disappointing stay. The room was extremely dirty and poorly maintained. I found a broken chair, stains on the bed, and spiders with spider webs in at least 4 different places in the room. Even the lift was not working. What disappointed me most was the lack of response from the hotel staff. Last night I tried contacting reception/management several times, but nobody answered or helped. The overall cleanliness and service were far below acceptable standards. I would not recommend staying here unless the management seriously improves maintenance and customer service.

The bed was clean but room and carpet smells funny! WiFi didn’t reach the room so advertising “Free WiFi” is pointless as it only worked in the reception area. Tea and coffee didn’t have cups just tiny glasses which felt very cheap.
