Hôtel Premier Inn Manchester Airport (Heald Green)

An amazing time there i am thinking on going again the food was amazing and all i could hear mainly every second was the planes and when i looked up at one i was like oh its ryanair i think but i honestly would like to give you a five star you are the best

Returned in May-26, the rooms are in need of a renovation as poor standard for the top end prices. Great location down the road from the airport staff very friendly

3 night stay. Service was good, location was convenient for most things. The pictures certainly don't look the same. The first room we got put in was very musty so we requested to move which they allowed, the second room was better but still had a bit of a smell, also very outdated Woken up every night to banging above.

Close to airport, so you will hear low flying planes. Rooms are a bit tired compared to other premier inns.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We arrived a little before check-in and had no problem getting into our room. It's close to the train station, and you can go out to eat in the evening.

Rooms are dated compared to Stockport central and south, smells like a hospital ward. Reception staff could do with being a bit more chirpy, great location though. Second time staying breakfast good, rooms and carpets need sorting.

Avoid! Awful experience at Premier Inn Manchester (Heald Green). Will definitely not be staying here at this specific hotel again (bear in mind I've stayed in over 60+ Premier Inns over the years on business, so I am fully aware what the standards are with Premier Inn). Here are the list of issues encountered (no particular order): Very dated rooms/bathroom. Very weird/strange smell in rooms too. As my room was on the ground floor, you could easily hear all the squeaks from footsteps from the floor above, no sound insulation whatsoever. So I was constantly woken up throughout the entire night by the footsteps and squeaks from the floor above. Barely got a few hours sleep! The lady at reception was quite condescending when checking in. I had to "book in" a time for both dinner and breakfast. What's the point when the service is shocking anyway (more details below). To access the restaurant, you need to walk through a very dingy corridor, and the restaurant itself was very shabby and dated. The restaurant food and drink selection was really poor and prices were way too extortionate for what you got. The pizza I ordered was awful, did not enjoy my main at all. Massively overpriced for what you get. Took almost 20 minutes of waiting to get served again to ask for dessert, which sadly again was not pleasant to eat either. So many other guests seemed to be waiting around for ages to be served in the restaurant, lack of any service. Decided not to bother with breakfast at the hotel considering the major lack of any quality with food with dinner the night before. Overall, quite a poor experience. This is one specific hotel I will definitely not be returning to.

It was one night before further travel so no problems with the experience and happily stay again. Or check in and check out we really quick and easy. Very friendly also.... We've stayed before and this time opted not to eat in the restaurant attached to the hotel. Our last visit the restaurant had changed hands to become the Premier Inn owned and the staff were diabolical, as was the service and food. On our arrival this year the restaurant was empty so it would appear our experience and thoughts about the eatery are not just our own!!!

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in!! The second you drive up you realise the hotel is very dated and run down. The corridors resemble a hostel with dirty carpets and walls. In the rooms there was no air con or heating, only a small wall heater which, throughout the night when it clicked on and off at temp would produce a blue spark! The bathroom was very dated, dirty and smelled of urine. The carpets were covered in dust and haven’t been vacuumed. I was woken all night from the low planes flying into Manchester and no sound proofing in the room. Breakfast was umm interesting! It’s not a buffet style, so you have to order and wait. We waited for 50 minutes for breakfast, due to only one member of staff working. He was greeting, siting, waiting, re-stocking, cleaning and running back and forth to the kitchen! It was crazy and definitely what you don’t expect when you have a time schedule. I would never stay here again! Avoid!! Much better hotels are available locally.
